Gregory took out his phone. He debated if he should call Angeline and tell her.

Then he thought about the man who had shielded Angeline and taken her away from the fight. He was worried that Angeline would be with him right now. He considered if his call would cause a misunderstanding between them.

Now Ned had a fiancée, and Angeline had a protector by her side. Gregory thought it would be best if Ned and Angeline never interacted again.

When Trevor received news of Ned's admission to the hospital, he rushed over, looking pale.

Fletcher Corporation was in a precarious situation, and Ned had to stay safe.

"Angeline…" Ned suddenly gripped his bedsheets tightly as he murmured her name.

He seemed to be in the grip of an intense nightmare.

The scene changed. Angeline had just come out of her coma and was struggling, even with walking. He pushed her to the ground and crushed the lollipop under his foot in irritation. He crouched down and looked at Angeline, who had tears streaming down her face.

"I told you that I can't remember! Why are you being so desperate? I enjoy eating sweets, but only the ones that Baby gives me."

Once, when they were in high school, several schools gathered for a joint outdoor training camp. Ned had hidden his phone away so he could call Angeline, who had been at a competition and hadn't returned in time for camp.

The camp counselor caught him during night inspections, and when he went through Ned's phone, he discovered all the photos that Ned had taken secretly of Angeline. Everyone in the dorm had squeezed over to him and demanded to know who the gorgeous girl in the pictures was.
