Angeline clenched onto Sean's suit. His slanted yet deep-set eyes were so captivating that they almost devoured whatever sanity Angeline had left.
She looked away to avoid eye contact with Sean.
"I'm worried that you only like me for my body. If so, there will be more women who are younger and more attractive than me in the future."
Angeline continued, "I've always been insecure, especially after my previous failed relationship. I won't easily get into another one.
"Plus, you have been different from the Sean that I know. It seems that I don't know much about the real you."
"Yes, Angeline. You truly don't know much about the real me. I'm neither virtuous nor unattainable," Sean said with clear articulation.
His low, magnetic voice mesmerized Angeline as he caressed her lips with his fingers and whispered into her reddened ears, "You don't know how dangerously powerful my desire for you is, not to mention the dirty lecherousness I have toward you.
"You don't want to know all the irrational, horrifying thoughts I have for you. Like what I'm doing right now—I'm lifting your chin, raising your head, forcing you to accept my kiss, forcing you to fall in love with me."
Angeline's mind was in shambles from Sean's lewd comments.
"S-Sean, this is…" Angeline said as she heaved in palpitation.
"This isn't like you."
"I've always loved you, even when you were with Ned. Or should I say, I'm obsessed with you," Sean replied.
Angeline was stunned. She never noticed Sean's feelings for her.
She couldn't tell if Sean was good at hiding his feelings or if she was simply oblivious to his obsessive nature before.
"This is the real me," Sean said, his eyes filled with thirst and craze.
They were so invasive that Angeline avoided direct contact with them.
As Sean hadn't contacted her, Angeline's heart and emotions were in chaos over the last few days.
If the bodyguards Taylor sent weren't always around her, she would've thought all the crazy moments she shared with Sean were a figment of her imagination.
Angeline had undeniably liked Sean before his confession.
But after today, she loved Sean.
Angeline thought something was wrong with her.
She didn't want Sean to leave her life. She enjoyed Sean's desire, lecherousness, and imagination for her.
Angeline's body couldn't endure her heart palpitation any longer. When her hand subconsciously reached onto Sean's shoulder, the other hand, which was trembling while pushing against the table, slowly wrapped around his neck.
