Angeline's ears turned red at Sean's suggestive tone.
"Okay."
Perhaps it was because they'd just made things official between them, but they were both in high spirits when Sean sent Angeline home.
Sean held Angeline's hand tightly as he drove. His hand wrapped around her nape when the traffic light turned red to pull her in for a passionate kiss.
It wasn't until the navigation device reminded him that the light had turned green again that he released Angeline, who was out of breath. At the sight of her panting for air, Sean grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips, planting a light kiss on it.
Her lips were crimson red when they arrived at Angeline's house.
The bodyguard trailing after them in another car quickly got out and opened the door for her.
Angeline unfastened the seat belt and reminded Sean, "Don't forget to have lunch. Should I wait for you for dinner?"
"I'll give you a call before five."
Sean's gaze was fixed on Angeline as though he couldn't bear to tear his eyes away from her.
"Drive safe!" Angeline said before shutting the passenger seat door behind her. She bent lower and waved to Sean before turning to head in.
It wasn't until he watched her step into the elevator that Sean drove away.
Back in her house, Angeline threw herself and her bag onto the couch. She buried her burning face in her hands.
After calming herself down from her intimate kisses with Sean, it finally dawned on her that she'd agreed to be in a relationship with him.
She wondered if she had been blinded by lust.
Angeline touched her red and swollen lips. They stung.
She bit her thumb as she thought about the difference in the way Sean was kissing her. He was usually a gentleman, but he seemed to be a feral beast when he kissed her earlier.
Still, she didn't regret it.
