Sherryn watched them leave, then sat down next to Ned. "I don't know how much of your memories you've recovered, but it's impossible for you and Angeline to be together now. Everyone knows that you're engaged to Ingrid, not to mention what you did to Angeline to force her to divorce you."

Ned leaned back against the couch, unmoving and silent.
