Second Marriage to Mr. Rich (Ned Fletcher) novel Chapter 282

Angeline's phone slipped out of her bag, and the screen began flashing. The motion-sensor lights in the foyer flickered on in tandem with the phone ringing.

On the other end, Yasmine's brow was tightly furrowed as she looked back at her intelligent older brother. "Is Mom not picking up because she's sleeping?"

Xavier's face was identical to Yasmine's. He looked stern as he sat cross-legged beside her and said, "I think that Sean must've gone straight to look for Mom after he left the old Lawson residence!"

Yasmine was startled. Suddenly, her eyes lit up, and she asked in a low voice, "If Dad and Mom are together, are we going to have a little brother or sister very soon? Will I get to be an older sister too?"

Yasmine was the younger sibling, and being an older sibling held a certain fascination for her.

Xavier glared at Yasmine before he stood up and left.

Zachary looked at Ned, who was leaning on the couch with a towel over his eyes to hide his emotions. Ned gulped, and his Adam's apple bobbed.

Then, Zachary asked uncertainly, "Do you remember everything? Or only a part of it?"

Trevor gulped down half a bottle of water before he said, "It seems that he's remembered everything."

Although he didn't know too much about Angeline and Ned's past, Trevor was very clear about how much Ned loved Ingrid.

However, the moment he had regained his memories, Ned, who loved Ingrid deeply, had wanted to break off his engagement to her and get Angeline back instead.

If he hadn't remembered everything, he would never do that to Ingrid.

"Zachary, Mr. Marshall…" Sherryn was woken by the commotion downstairs. She stood at the top of the staircase with a shawl around her shoulders, looking down at them. She thought that Zachary and Trevor had brought Ned back because he had drunk too much, so she smiled as she walked downstairs.
