Mason waved the documents Helen had given him. "Helen's brought us an exclusive contract with Vitality Biotech Group immediately after becoming a board member. Shouldn't our vice president be able to do that to deserve the position?"

"You decided on it ages ago? You were a nobody before today—how could you have decided on anything?" Mason didn't wait for Angeline to finish. He flung the documents he held onto the table. "You're just stealing Helen's thunder! She's the one who negotiated with Vitality Biotech Group!"

"Don't be mad, Mr. Denton. Vitality Biotech Group is interested in Lawson Global, not a specific person. Even if Ms. Lawson wants to kick me out of this, I'll accept it as long as it doesn't ruin the cooperation." Helen looked she was willing to take the fall.

"I can do anything for Lawson Global, and I'm willing to handle any dirt that's thrown my way. After all, it's the culmination of the hard work of generations of Lawsons before me. I'll only hope for it to get better with time."
