Second Marriage to Mr. Rich (Ned Fletcher) novel Chapter 336

Sean finally released Angeline when she almost ran out of breath. Cupping her cheeks, he pulled her away from him.

Angeline's body went limp as she gasped for air.

Her face was flushed, and her brain was muddled as she blurted, "I love your jealousy."

Her vision blurred from her tears, so she failed to notice his gaze intensifying upon her words. His eyes held a staggering wave of obsession for her.

"You're spoiling me," he rasped.

The consequences of her confession released the floodgates of his lust for her.

A shudder coursed through Angeline as he spoke in her ear. Perhaps she was equally overwhelmed by the situation and had lost all sense of rationale, too.

She blurted, "Sean, I want you!"

Sean's mind went blank for a second. As a starving predator, it felt like his prey had invited him to devour her.

Angeline's consequences that night were foreseeable. She almost thought she'd die in his arms after he carried her into the bedroom. He still had the audacity to tease her, urging her to hold back because they had to work tomorrow.

Hold back? He was one to talk.

A throbbing pain steadily pulsed in Angeline's head when she was woken up by her alarm the next morning. She barely had any sleep before the alarm went off at 6:00 am. It was time for her morning workout, but she could hardly summon the strength to turn off the alarm.

When she worked at the lab, it was normal for her to spend 30 hours without sleep. She'd nap for a few hours before scrambling to splash her face with cold water. After a cup of coffee, her focus reverted to her experiments again.

Angeline realized her throat was sore as she spoke. Instinctively, her thoughts wandered to where Sean clasped her mouth last night as he thrust roughly into her, reminding her that this was what she wanted. The tips of her ears went red, and she immediately snapped back to the moment.

Sean noticed her reddened ears and knew her thoughts. Ruffling her hair, he pecked a kiss on the top of her head.

"I'll brew some coffee for you."

Angeline finally removed her hand once the door was closed. She rose, her expression flushed as she dragged her sore body to the bathroom. As she looked at the mirror, she cleared her throat to regain her normal voice.

A hint of joy danced in her eyes as she drank in her reflection with a toothbrush in hand.
