Angeline used to loathe physical contact with men, except when it came to Ned. Yet, she still found it hard to go further than kissing.
Things were different with Sean, though. Sharing a passionate kiss and even having sex with a man used to be beyond Angeline's imagination. Traumatized from her past, physical intimacy was agonizing to her.
It was easy for Sean to arouse her desire. He enlightened her that sex could be addicting when it was done with the right person. She remembered him saying that he was jealous of her past relationship. Indeed, she had poured all her effort into her relationship with Ned. She'd tried her best, but by a twist of fate, they were separated by a car accident. Perhaps it was fate's way of correcting her.
Angeline rinsed her mouth and wiped the foam off her lips. She loved how Sean, who was usually aloof and indifferent, was enthralled by her. She savored the sight of his veins popping as he tried to hold back his emotions.
Propping her hands against the basin, she looked into her reflection. She was biting her lip, her face flushed. She figured she was hopeless. She wondered how she could have such unhinged fetishes.
Sean was already at the dining table when she stepped out of the master bedroom. He was halfway through his breakfast while reading the news on his iPad.
Angeline felt much better after freshening up. At least the weariness that was evident on her face when she woke up earlier vanished.
She sat beside Sean, and before she could draw her coffee cup to her lips, he said, "Have something to eat first. It's not healthy for you to drink coffee on an empty stomach."
"Okay."
She took a peanut butter spread he made.
She was wide awake after having breakfast and coffee. Signs of her earlier fatigue had disappeared completely when she put on her shoes.
"Here."
Sean gave her a box of cough relief drops.
A tinge of red colored the tips of her ears as she met his eyes. Before she could utter a word, he cupped the back of her head and pressed his lips against hers fervently.
