"Mr. Lawson, Ms. Angeline, morning."

Lenny was already waiting outside. He took the documents from Angeline swiftly and pressed the elevator button.

Angeline and Sean rode the same car to the company. The senior executives, who were waiting for the elevator, greeted them once they emerged from the basement. They both nodded in response.

Taylor and Jamie were expecting them outside the elevator. Once they stepped out of the elevator, Taylor and Jamie hurried toward their respective employers and began to brief them about their work schedules.

Sean's office was a stone's throw from Angeline's. Before entering her office, she could still hear him instructing Taylor to fetch the finance director.

Once she removed her jacket, Jamie took it and hung it aside.

"The project proposal Helen sent on Lawson Global's behalf was like what Mr. Reilly said. It's more profitable than the one you sent him.

"Mr. Wagler had just sent the latest project proposal this morning. It's a compromise… He wants you to look at it."

"I don't think I'll go through it. He's in charge of this project and should contact Mr. Reilly from Vitality immediately. Tell him I won't be involved because of the conflict of interest," Angeline replied.

While ordering Jamie, she gestured at Lenny for him to bring her last night's documents.

"Get the managers from the project management and sales departments.

"Also, ask the finance director to pop in after he's done with Mr. Lawson."

"Noted!"

Jamie headed out.
