Sean's gaze fell on her slender and graceful neck.
She seemed fragile, as if her neck could break with just a little force. It was understandable that she was afraid. But since she agreed to be with him, indulging all his possessiveness and greed to the extent that it became insatiable today, making him greedy, anxious, and irritable, it would be too late for her to ask him to let go now.
Angeline raised her hand to cover the back of his hand, which was pinching her chin and gently kissed his fingertips.
His suppressed anger seemed to freeze as his fingers trembled, and he loosened his grip on her face.
"I've already told Mr. Lawson Senior that I don't want to separate from you," she finally said, her voice choked with emotion.
"I won't leave you ever!"
At the sound of his increasingly rapid breaths, she gently moved his hand from her chin and placed her cheek in his palm.
She continued, "If revenge is something you must do, I won't stop you. Just like you won't stop me from doing everything to protect the Lawsons!"
"And?" Sean asked persistently, staring into her eyes.
"It's not love if I use our feelings to force you to go against your heart and suppress your hatred," she answered, tears streaming down her cheeks into his palm.
"But I'll wait for you! I'll wait for you to come back, no matter what!"
She would wait for him if he came back after seeking revenge or gave it up and returned.
Sean tightened his grip on Angeline's slender waist.
He had always been distrustful of her feelings for him, so it was hard to conceal his astonishment when she was unwilling to give up their relationship.

Although she knew he would accept it, she still feared that his momentary hesitation would hurt her.
Sean's heart ached from his intense and erratic heartbeat.
He stared at Angeline without blinking in the darkness, his throat bobbing. He removed his glasses and threw them aside.

His savage and ruthless kiss, almost extracting her soul from her body, made her scalp tingle.
She could feel the terrifying possessiveness contained in his frenzied kiss. She found it difficult to breathe due to a lack of oxygen.
Despite this, she didn't push him away. Her trembling arms tightly wrapped around his neck, and her heart pounded wildly.
