The Sean that Taylor worked for was the president of Lawson Global, while the Sean that Brayden knew was Shane Kingston.
It wasn't hard for Angeline to deduce who drugged Sean based on this.
"But why? Why did Brayden drug you?" Angeline asked while looking at Sean. "Was it to break us apart?"
Sean smiled and caressed Angeline's hair before kissing her again. "No one can break us apart, Angie. Not a single person can!"
It was just as Angeline thought.
Although Angeline didn't dislike Brayden because of his relationship with Sean, she couldn't stand him for attempting to create an irreversible rift between Sean and her by utilizing Sean's trust in him.
Angeline's throat felt better after eating something. She turned on her laptop and phone to start working through her backlog of work.
Jamie was shocked when he heard Angeline's voice through the phone call.
Angeline explained, "I got a cold which causes a sore throat. I'll text you as talking hurts my throat."
"Okay, sure!" Jamie quickly replied. "Please rest if you're sick, Ms. Lawson. I'll get the secretariat to arrange the work by their importance and send you the top priority details later. You can look at the rest that aren't important when you've recovered.
"Oh, but you'll have to go through the script for the interview and text me if there's something you want to change."
"Alright. Tell the secretariat I'm sorry for the trouble," Angeline replied.
Worrying about Angeline's voice, Jamie asked, "How about we delay the interview? I'm worried that your voice won't recover by tomorrow."
"Sure, we can move it to a later day. Please tell Ms. Vasquez that I'm sorry," Angeline said.
