TO TATTLE or not to tattle...
Garam was supposed to be looking for a place where his children could take swimming lessons, but he couldn’t focus.
Hence, he could only stare at his computer screen.
"Honey, do you want to go swimming?"
Oh.
Garam almost forgot that Song Sihyuk was at home because it was the weekend.
His husband kissed the top of Garam’s head before sitting on the chair next to him.
That was how the two of them ended up hanging out in the gazebo while having fresh orange juice and some bacon, eggs, and toast.
It was practically their second breakfast.
And it was quiet because the kids weren’t there.
Song Gunwoo went out to play with his younger cousins, while Seulgi was still asleep.
"Gunwoo wants to go to the Maldives," Garam told his husband while enjoying his avocado toast. "It won’t be our first time going to the beach, but I’m extra worried now that we have Seulgi. So, I want to be prepared. Gunwoo already knows how to swim, but it won’t hurt if he accompanies me and Seulgi during our swimming lessons."
Song Sihyuk raised an eyebrow. "You already know how to swim, honey."
"Yes. But, this time, I’m thinking about taking lessons on how to save drowning people. Thankfully, there are academies that offer rescue training to civilians."
Song Sihyuk frowned, obviously in deep thought.
No, Hyung isn’t upset with me— that’s just his face when he’s thinking.
"So, while Gunwoo and Seulgi are taking swimming lessons, I’m planning to learn how to save drowning people, especially drowning children," Garam said, glancing at Song Sihyuk. "You don’t like the idea, Hyung?"
"No, it’s good to be prepared. But I’m not sure I like the idea of people seeing you in your swimming outfit."
Aigooya.
"There’s a reason why we only go to private beaches, honey."
Garam rolled his eyes.
"If you want to take rescue lessons, I’ll teach you," Song Sihyuk offered. "I was in the Marine Corps during my time in the army, you know?"
"Hyung, I know how busy you are, so forget it."
"Since it’s already summer, should we move to a house with a pool?" Song Sihyuk asked, ignoring what Garam just said. "Or we can move to my penthouse. It has an indoor pool."
"Seulgi is just getting used to our house, so let’s not move in the meantime. Plus, we can use the pool in the clubhouse."
"Tsk."
"Hyung, stop being narrow-minded. I’m not young anymore, so stop thinking that everyone is out to steal me from you."
"What are you talking about, Lim Garam? You’re still as hot and gorgeous as you were years ago. If I let my guard down, those pests won’t leave you alone..."
"That’s your imagination, Hyung. But, even if there’s someone stupid enough to approach me with that kind of intention, do you think I’d dump you for that person? Do you not trust me?"
"I trust you— but not those bastards."
Aigooya.
"Stop it, Sihyuk Hyung. You can’t stop me."
"Tsk."
"Stop clicking your tongue at me, Song Sihyuk-ssi."
"Sorry."
"I already have a lot on my mind, so stop stressing me out with your unwarranted jealousy."
"What’s on your mind, honey?" Song Sihyuk asked worriedly, smoothing the lines that appeared on Garam’s forehead when he knitted his eyebrows out of annoyance. "Can I help you with anything?"
"I’m not sure about what to do, Hyung," Garam said, hugging Song Sihyuk’s arm. Then he placed his chin on his husband’s shoulder while looking up at him. "Should I tell Hanseo Hyung that Kang Daeho is being sly? Even though I don’t have evidence to back it up? It’s not like we can tell Hanseo Hyung about your conversation with Dr. Seong."
"I told Seong Kyungmin to have an honest conversation with Gong Hanseo," Song Sihyuk assured Garam. "They’re adults, Garam-ah. I’m sure they’ll talk just fine. Seong Kynungmin is good at talking. And wasn’t Gong Hanseo your former leader? I remember him being eloquent when giving a winning speech on behalf of your group."
"Well, yes. Hanseo Hyung was our leader, so he was used to talking on behalf of our team. But that was him being professional. But, honestly, Hanseo Hyung tends to be avoidant when it comes to his personal problems. So, I’m not sure how to bring up the issue with Kang Daeho. I have a feeling that Hanseo Hyung will avoid talking about it."
"Do you want me to talk to Gong Hanseo, then?"
"What are you going to say to Hanseo Hyung if I allow you to talk to him?"
"I’ll tell him to get his shit together and be more assertive."
Garam frowned, and then he glared at Song Sihyuk. "Wait a minute. You should be scolding Dr. Seong, Hyung."
"Well, it was Gong Hanseo who kept forcing Seong Kyungmin to visit the pregnant Omega," Song Sihyuk said, shrugging. "It’s all because Gong Hanseo is afraid that the baby might get affected if the pregnant Omega gets upset that this is happening. I understand that Gong Hanseo wants to keep the baby safe, but he still should put some boundary."
Tsk.
Garam knew that Song Sihyuk was right, but he was still upset on behalf of Gong Hanseo.
While he was thinking about how to defend his hyung, he got distracted when his phone rang. And when he saw the name on the caller ID, he immediately picked it up.
"Yes, Hanseo Hyung?"
"Garam-ah, can we meet today?"
"Of course, Hyung," Garam answered immediately, despite the loud sigh that Song Sihyuk let out. "Let’s have lunch together."

My baby is eating well.

Sihyuk Hyung is at home anyway, and the household ahjummas are there to play with Seulgi if Hyung needs a break.
I have shadow bodyguards with me to keep me safe from afar.
Oh, Hanseo Hyung was early.
Ah, it’s here.

"YOU’RE at the hospital? Why, babe? Are you sick? Which hospital is it?"
