Chapter 201 I Was A Real Beast

Lucas blinked, his eyes wide with excitement.

The next second, he stretched his arms out as far as he could.

He dove headfirst into the fluffy white fur of a giant Samoyed, almost as tall as he was, completely burying himself in its softness.

Everyone stood there, dumbstruck.

They just stared at the Samoyed’s adorably smiling face, left in stunned silence.

It was even wearing a blue floral bandana around its neck.

Allan threw his hands up in exaggerated disbelief, pointing at that little sign. He asked, “Fierce beast?” Then he pointed at the big white Samoyed, asking, “Seriously? This one?”

The Samoyed just tilted its head and barked, “Woof.”

Lucas, after enjoying the feeling of all that fluff, spun around and brandished his tiny fists at Allan, putting on his fiercest face.

Big Ben shouted, “Don’t you dare bully Yeti.”

He raised his hand and smacked Allan right on the back of the head.

Clearly, there was some old grudge between them.

Allan was speechless.

Stella silently stared at the cartoon lion on the little sign, then looked over at the Samoyed. If compared to the real thing, the drawing was actually kind of spot-on in its own way.

Stella asked, “So, this drawing is?”

Lucas’s eyes sparkled, and he eagerly raised his hand.

‘Me. I drew it. I did it, he thought.

The Samoyed plopped down and, mimicking the fierce beast on the sign, opened its mouth wide, making a loud sound. ‘Me? I’m a real beast,’ it thought.

Lucas followed suit, curling all his little fingers and pretending to howl just like Yeti.

Everyone stood there, dumbstruck.

Sebastian, sitting in his wheelchair, couldn’t help but raise a hand, close his eyes, and rub his forehead.

And suddenly, a little black snake peeked out from the top of the Samoyed’s head.

Big Ben said, “Wow, look at that. It’s a total drama queen snake.”

He pointed at it with his chubby little finger.

Then he grinned smugly at the stunned Snowball.

Blackie was speechless. ‘Wait, was that a roast? But he did say I was fabulous, Blackie thought.

Blackie gave a soft hiss.

Leisurely sliding down from the Samoyed’s head, it ambled straight over to Stella and wrapped itself cozily around her wrist, aiming for some close cuddles.

Snowball froze.

Instantly, Snowball went full-scale-flare mode.

Just like old times, Snowball was totally throwing a fit at Stella’s feet, rolling around like a big marshmallow, and looking super pitiful.

Snowball thought, ‘I’m still Stella’s favorite snake!’

Blackie let out a scoff.

Chapter 201 I Was A Real Beast

Everyone stood there, dumbstruck.

Honestly, this was just too wild to even comment on.

Sebastian said, “Yeti, lead us inside.”

Sebastian was obviously totally at ease with Yeti.

The Samoyed, Yeti, barked, “Woof.”

Then it turned around.

Its fluffy white butt wiggled from side to side, and the fur jiggled with every step. Everyone could tell its owner really put in the effort to keep it looking this good. Honestly, it was impossible not to stare at that butt.

Allan said, “I just wanna squish it.”

Yeti was stunned.

‘You sound like such a creep,’ Yeti thought.

Stella asked, “Its name is Yeti?”

Sebastian replied, “Yeti, as in Samoyed.” He paused, his expression a bit complicated, then said, “It’s pretty lively in there.”

Stella was confused.

‘Sebastian, that look on your face is way more than just a little lively,’ Stella thought.

With Yeti leading the way, everyone, robots, snakes, and all, shuffled inside, taking their sweet time.

Flowers bloomed on both sides of the path.

They were all different colors, but somehow, they looked unexpectedly harmonious together.

Going further in, they suddenly found themselves facing two enormous lotus ponds. The lotuses were in full bloom, and huge green pods hung above the water, looking fresh and vibrant.

Yeti barked and came to a stop.

Everyone stopped right behind Yeti, just like that.

Yeti threw its head back and howled at the sky.

Big Ben fired up his translator mode and said, “Hey, kids, come out and say hi to our guests.”

Everyone stood there, dumbstruck.

The lotus leaves on both sides rustled, and Stella lifted her gaze, catching sight of something suddenly popping out from underneath.

‘Wait, is that?’ Stella wondered.

Stella was confused.

Allan shouted, “Oh my god.”

He cried out.

His face was in sheer panic.

Several huge crocodiles popped up from the water, one on the left and one on the right, their knobby heads topped with giant lotus leaves. Then, they swung open their enormous jaws and started spraying water, just like little fountains.

Allan’s face was stuck in full panic mode.

Everyone stood there, dumbstruck.

After all the spraying was done, Lucas’s eyes sparkled as he immediately started clapping.

While clapping, he turned around and reminded everyone to clap.

Everyone else clapped along.

But their faces were totally numb.

Stella looked down at Sebastian, who was rubbing his forehead again without even looking up. Sebastian said, “Maxim picked up those baby crocs on a mission in the rainforest. Been raising them ever since.”

Stella was speechless.

Yeti barked.

With a splash, the big crocs disappeared beneath the lotus leaves again.

But one little baby croc, still clutching a big lotus leaf in its mouth, slowly waddled over to Lucas.

It plopped the big lotus leaf right on top of Lucas’s head.

Lucas was so happy.

The baby croc swished its tail back and forth, looking super happy, then slowly crawled back into the lotus pond.

The pot bubbled and gurgled.

It slipped under the water, leaving just its eyes poking out above the surface.

Yeti spun around with a dramatic flair, shooting a smug look at everyone behind him.

‘All these guys are my crew, Yeti thought. Then it strutted off, leading the way.

After a bit more walking, Stella found herself staring at a bunch of dorm buildings that looked just like the Red Shadow Training Grounds. Even the thick forest and mountains behind them were perfectly recreated.

A ridiculously cute kitten cry snapped Stella out of her thoughts. With a loud thump, a cat, Orange, threw itself down at Yeti’s feet, its front paws twitching and shaking like it was putting on a whole drama for attention.

It looked like it’d just been poisoned.

Lucas crouched down, looking super anxious.

He poked Orange.

Orange stayed perfectly still, its paws trembling.

Lucas poked again.

Still no reaction, Orange just lay there, paws still shaking.

‘Hurry up. Gimme the can. Today, it’s do or die, me and the can go down together, Orange thought. Blackie, who had been chilling on Stella’s wrist, zipped down and zoomed straight for Orange, faster than everyone could blink.
