Chapter 205
The bucket of paint dropped with a loud crash.
The next second, Chantel’s smug grin froze on her face.
The once lively classroom went dead silent. Even a pin drop could be heard.
Everyone’s eyes turned in unison to Stella.
No one could even tell how she did it.

She moved in a flash; her hand shot out, grabbed the falling bucket, and, with a perfectly calm expression, steadied it just before the water could hit the floor. Everyone watching was left utterly dumbfounded.
Everyone was left speechless.
They stared in a daze at the bucket, watching the water inside still trembling.
Not a single drop had spilled outside.
Stella raised an eyebrow, looking bored. She said, “Is that all you’ve got?”
There was dead silence.
Stella swept her cold gaze around the room, her presence so intense that people just moved out of her way without even thinking. She gave a lazy wave to the lookout at the door, and the guy instantly backed away, almost on reflex.
“If you’re scared, why even bother?” Stella asked.
The lookout just stood there, speechless.
She instinctively glanced at Chantel, trying to muster up some courage, Banking on Stella not daring to do anything wild in the classroom, she made as if to walk past her. She said, “I don’t get what you’re saying.”
She kept talking as she tried to walk past.
But Stella wasn’t about to let her have her way.
With a blank face, Stella calmly lifted the bucket of paint water and dropped it right over the girl’s head. With
a splash, the girl was soaked from head to toe, shivering from the cold.
The scream from inside the bucket was shrill and ridiculous.
As for Stella, she just shoved her hands in her pockets and sauntered back to her seat, cool as ever.
She moved with a lazy, almost careless air.
She didn’t spare a single glance for the mess behind her.

Even with every eye in the room locked on her, Stella’s face didn’t twitch a muscle.
Chantel was speechless.

She could only watch as Stella strode over, the tension in the air so thick one could cut it with a knife.
Stella tossed her black shoulder bag onto the desk.
“You, Stella, what you did was totally out of line,” Lon pushed up his glasses, saying, all self-righteous.
Stella didn’t even blink. She reached into her desk, pulled out the fake snake, and held it up.
“Who put this here?” Stella asked, sounding almost polite as she raised her hand.
Nobody said a word.
Everyone was still stunned by how badass Stella looked, dropping that bucket over someone’s head with just one hand. The chill down their spines was real.
“Stella,” Lon stood up, saying.
Stella pointed at him and said, “You wait a sec.” Her voice was lazy.
Stella raised her voice, asking, “I’m asking again; who put this here?”
Still, no one answered.
Blackie poked its head out from her sleeve, sniffed the air, then flicked its chilly tail at Stella, nudging her to move in a certain direction.
Stella took a step forward.
She strode past desk after desk, finally coming to a stop in front of one.
She reached out and tapped the desk lightly.
The thud sounded like a death knell.
The girl kept her head down, her whole body practically shaking with nerves. All that cocky attitude from earlier when she planted the fake snake was long gone.
Stella said, “Apologize.”
Stella waited, surprisingly patient.
The girl just stood there, speechless.
Lon said, “Stella.”
The girl snapped, “Apologize my ass.”

The next second, her collar was yanked, and she was slammed face-first onto the desk with a bone-rattling thud, making everyone jump out of their skin.
Stella’s eyes were icy cold as she pinned the girl’s head down with one hand, a dangerous glint flashing in her
gaze.
Stella’s pale fingers traced the girl’s cheek as she leaned in close, her voice low in the girl’s ear. She said, “I told you on my first day; I’m mean. Why does nobody ever listen?”
The girl was too terrified to say a word.
She was shaking all over, scared out of her wits.
Because she saw a pair of cold, eerie eyes staring at her from inside Stella’s sleeve. She wasn’t dreaming; there really were eyes watching her.
Blackie slowly poked its head out, baring its tiny fangs at her.
Blackie let out a scoff.
The girl shrieked at the top of her lungs, shouting, “Snake. There’s a snake.”
She suddenly started screaming like she was possessed, while the kids nearby just saw the fake snake Stella was holding, thanks to their angle.
He thought, ‘Seriously, was a plastic snake really that terrifying?
‘Best part? She was the one who planted it herself.’
“Stella, you can’t do that. I’m telling the teacher,” Lon said and bolted for the door, but suddenly, a wooden chair came flying out of nowhere and smashed into the wall right next to him.
With a thud, the chair exploded into pieces.
Lon froze, totally speechless.
His legs were shaking, his hand still clutching the doorknob; he was too scared to even move,
Stella calmly lowered her hand, the same one that had just hurled the chair.
“Don’t be scared,” Stella said, giving the girl’s cheek a couple of pats as she held her down. “I’m fair, but I never let anyone get away with messing with me. You leave me alone, we’re cool. But if you wanna pick a fight?”
Stella’s face went stone cold, her eyes icy. She said, “Then I’ll show you no mercy.”
She tightened her grip.
Then, she stuffed the fake snake right into the girl’s shirt.

“Snake. It’s a real snake,” the girl shouted, her face turned deathly pale as she jumped around like crazy, clawing at herself in panic.
Everyone was left speechless.
Stella glanced up at Lon, her voice flat. She said, “You knew they were trying to set me up.”
Lon just stood there, speechless.
Stella shot him a look, her tone flat. She said, “But you just stood there and said nothing.”
She sauntered back to her seat, saying, “Staying silent makes you an accomplice. Acting all righteous but keeping your mouth shut? That’s just fake. You wanna call me out? Honestly, I think you’re trash, too.”
She sat down, like it was just another ordinary day.
Everyone was left speechless.
Everyone felt like they’d just been roasted.
“There’s a snake,” the girl shouted, bolting out of the classroom straight for the teacher’s office.
Stella lazily raised her hand, letting Blackie slither down from her wrist and curl up in her hair.
Chantel was losing it, totally frazzled.
‘Shit, I’ve been totally humiliated these past two days, inside and out,’ Chantel thought.
Jude burst in from the office, panting. He said, “Stella, someone just reported you for hitting people and bringing a snake to school?”
He glanced around at the chaos in the classroom and felt his head throbbing; this was a nightmare.
