‘Why does she look so damn familiar? This is weird, Vincent thought.

The elevator doors slid open.

Eliel and Vincent stepped in first, while Stella moved at her own pace, turning around.

Right then, the elevator across from them opened up.

Allan was pushing Sebastian, who sat in a wheelchair with a frosty, unapproachable look, with two top brass walking alongside.

Stella fell silent.

It was like Sebastian sensed something; he looked up, his eyes searching in her direction, but all he caught was the cold, closing elevator doors.

Sebastian’s frosty gaze dropped. He replied, “Deal with it quickly.”

Once he finished speaking, he waved Allan off.

Allan said, “Why are you buying stuff for Stella again? Man, are you hooked or what?”

Allan said, “If you keep this up, I’m gonna call Nathan. I think you need professional help.” He paused, then asked, “You’ve already knocked out all the walls on Stella’s floor. Where would you stash all this stuff?”

Sebastian fell silent.

He just gave Allan a silent look.

Allan was speechless.

Allan suddenly got a bad vibe.

Sebastian said, “So, when are you moving out?”

Allan asked, “Wait, what?”

Sebastian continued saying, “We can use your floor for storage too. There’s still plenty of space.”

Allan was speechless.

‘Are you freaking kidding me? That’s it, I’m done. I’m going all out against you, Allan thought.

Upstairs, Stella and her two escorts stepped out of the elevator. The guard waiting for them nearly popped his eyes out, giving Eliel and Vincent a look like he seriously doubted their sanity.

‘Did you guys seriously bring the right person?’ the guard wondered, unable to shake his suspicion.

Eliel and Vincent, now that they’d had a chance to chill out, just shook their heads with a helpless sigh.

The door opened.

Everyone inside instantly turned their eyes on them.

Levi, the director of the Jaffina Kinetic University Tech Research Institute, was right there in the crowd. When he got the call today, the old guy was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement.

He spent the last few days waiting for a call from the head of Lab 709 anxiously, but there was radio silence. Levi was sure the whole thing was dead in the water, but just when he thought it was all over, there was a plot twist.
