The towel was soaked with enough knockout drug to take down lion or a tiger, let alone a teenage boy.
But Orpheus just stood there, watching his thug still holding Dean’s mouth and nose tight, a weird look on his face, clearly wanting to say something but holding back.
Declan calmly raised his hand and tapped the back of the thug’s hand. ‘Alright, that’s enough, he thought.
The thug tilted his head, only to meet Declan’s clear, totally alert eyes. He was floored. ‘No way, how is this possible?’ he thought.
Still not giving up, the thug yanked the towel away, pulled out a brown bottle from his jacket, and sloppily poured out half of it onto the towel. He raised the towel, eyes locked on Declan.
Declan, totally unfazed, leaned in toward the towel himself, face blank. Absolutely nothing happened. ‘Awkward, much?’ he thought.
Declan paused, then asked tentatively, “How about we just deal with whatever this is after it’s all over?”
The thug looked at Orpheus, unsure. “Orpheus?”
Orpheus hesitated, then nodded. “Alright.”
He acted as if nothing had ever happened.
‘Well, at least now I know what that pill in the car was supposed to do, Declan thought.

In the ring, the elevator doors slid open with a tiger’s roar echoing through the arena, and a figure stepped out, instantly drawing every eye in the place.
The crowd fell silent in a heartbeat. It was like time itself had frozen.
The girl strode forward, her face calm and unreadable. She wore a sleek black fighting suit that hugged her frame, her features hidden behind a black mask, except for her deep amber eyes.
A deafening roar sounded.
Inside the huge iron cage, a ravenous tiger prowled in circles, its beastly roar shaking the air. It crashed against the bars, the metal rattling dangerously, jaws gnashing at the iron, eyes wild with killing intent.
The crowd watched as the girl, just passing by the cage, stopped lead in her tracks.
She tilted her head. Her cool, unflinching eyes locked with the tier’s wild glare.
Sensing a threat, the tiger let out a defensive snarl, but in the blink of an eye, it shrank back like a whipped dog, tail tucked, belly to the ground, as if submitting to the girl.
The whole place went dead silent.
Stella broke eye contact and sauntered off toward the ring, totally unfazed.
In the corner, Suval bit down on his mouthguard, his bloodlust ranked up after nine straight wins. He shot Stella a wicked grin, while his manager kept patting his muscles, trying to loose him up.
Make it quick! the manager urged. “100 million dollars!”

Suval sneered, cocky as ever. “Half a minute.”
He shoved his manager aside and stalked straight toward her as he spoke.

It wasn’t until Suval squared off against Stella that the crowd finally snapped back to reality.
With Suval’s imposing figure looming over her, Stella looked even more delicate, like a single breeze could knock her down. Her flawless, baby-soft skin made her seem like she’d never even seen a rough patch in her life.
Everyone who’d bet on Sunblade was already kicking themselves Already, people were mourning their wallets.
Suval spat out his mouthguard with a cocky grin. “Need me to le you get a few hits in first?” He didn’t even see Stella as a real opponent.

In the audience, Declan noticed someone coming up beside him
He turned his head.
It was Fabian.
Fabian had just heard Suval’s cocky line, and his face went all kinds of weird.
Declan asked, “You alright?”
Fabian paused, his stomach suddenly cramping. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just got a stomachache, and that’s all.”
Declan thought, ‘What’s with him?’

Up in the ring, Stella glanced down, double-checking that her boking wraps were tight, meant to keep her from accidentally going full force and hurting her opponent.
Then she shot Suval a cool look. “Do you always run your mouth this much?”
Suval froze, his smirk faltering mid-face.
Stella loosened up her neck with a lazy stretch. “Let’s just get this over with. I don’t have all day.”
Suval and the rest just stared at her, speechless.
THE
‘Man, she’s seriously cocky!’ everyone thought.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Suval sneered, his rock-solid fist shooting straight for Stella’s face. The crowd gasped in shock, thinking there was no way she could dodge it.
But in the very next second, Stella just tilted her head and dodged it like it was nothing.
With a thud, Suval’s fist crashed into the railing of the Underground Boxing Arena, and the metal bar split open from the impact.
The crowd gasped in shock.
As Suval yanked his fist out of the crack, everyone couldn’t help but picture how brutal it would’ve been if that punch had actually landed on Stella.
But before anyone could dwell on it, Stella said lazily, almost bored, “Seriously? That’s all you’ve got?”

Chapter 342
Stella tilted her head. “My turn.”
The moment she said that, Suval’s pupils shrank in shock.
He could instantly feel that Stella was radiating a whole new kind of energy.
Every hair on his body stood on end.

In a flash, Stella was right in front of Suval. Suval threw another punch out of pure reflex, but this time. Stella didn’t even let him get close. Her fingers just reached out and caught his fist mid-air, locking it down tight.
Suval thought, totally floored, ‘No way, she actually caught my punch?’
Everyone around was left staring, jaws practically on the floor.
Suval! his manager yelled, freaking out.
What the hell is he playing at?’ his manager wondered, ‘Come on, hit back already!’
Shit! Suval wanted to fight back, but he felt totally drained, like someone had pulled the plug on his power.
His legs went heavy as hell, totally out of his control, and right there, in front of the whole crowd, he just straight-up collapsed in front of her.
Everyone was absolutely floored.
But after the shock wore off, the crowd erupted like a tidal wave of cheers.
It was so loud that it felt like the whole Underground Boxing Arena was about to blow apart. “Sunblade! Holy shit!”
Stella looked down at Suval, her gaze icy and sharp. “So, you think you’re the only king in this place?”
Everyone heard the sickening crack of bone breaking, echoing through the whole arena.
Stella asked, “Are you even worthy?”
Suval screamed in agony, half his face smashed into the floor, right on top of the bloodstain left by the ninth fighter who’d just been dragged out. He slammed his fist down, actually cracking the ground beneath him. That was how bad it hurt.
The referee was just about to step in when Stella lazily glanced up at him. One look from her and he was rooted to the spot.
‘Damn, that look is seriously scary,’ the referee thought.
Stop! the manager roared, his voice shaking. Suval was his golden goose.
But what greeted him was a cold, intimidating punch thrown right at him.
The gust from Stella’s fist whipped his hair back and stopped him dead in his tracks.
The manager stood there, stunned, unable to say a word. His Adam’s apple bobbed.
If he hadn’t felt it himself, he never would’ve believed that just the wind from a punch could sting his face so damn hard.
Stella radiated a dark, intimidating vibe. “Get lost.”
It was blunt and direct.
She didn’t even bother wasting another word.
