Chapter 378
After leaving the airport, Jaelyn gritted her teeth. “I don’t believe this! Let’s go catch the train!”
At the station, they got almost the same answer.
“I’m sorry, ladies, but all tickets to Haliville for today are completely sold out,” the staff informed them.
Jaclyn and Aveline could only stare in disbelief.

In the car, Jaelyn said, “We will drive there.”
Aveline just fell silent.
She simply raised her hand, giving up on talking sense into her elyn, knowing full well Jaelyn wouldn’t quit until she hit the wall herself.
Just as expected, at the highway checkpoint, they were stopped before they could even get through.
And this time, it turned out to be members of the Lion Squad.
Someone knocked on the window.
The window rolled down, revealing the faces of two noble ladies both trying their best to look calm.
“Ladies, please head back,” the Lion Squad member said, raising his hand with a polite smile that didn’t reach his eyes.
Behind him, his teammates were already cracking their knuckle clearly itching for a fight.
Jaelyn, furious and embarrassed, snapped, “What right do you have to stop me from leaving Jaffina?”
“Jaelyn, Mrs. Clinton,” the man replied with a smile. “Ms. Carter n’t someone you can just go and see who it.”

Maybe something clicked in her mind, and Aveline suddenly asked, “Is Ms. Carter connected to the Lio
“That’s not for you to know,” the leader replied.
His smile disappeared in a flash, impatience written all over hisce as he raised his hand. The ruthless, milit gave off squeezed the whole space until it felt way too small to breathe.

Meanwhile, Zack and Tripp were restless, shifting in their seats and stealing glances at the entrance every few seconds.
After a moment, a girl with a roguish, aloof air walked in, steady as ever.
Behind her trailed two crestfallen old guys, both sporting red caps and waving little flags. They piped up, all eager, “Young Sovereign.”
“Shut up,” Stella snapped.
She really didn’t want to think about how she’d just yanked those two off the tour bus a moment ago.
Zack, Tripp, and the crowd behind them were stunned.

No one could’ve imagined that the legendary, mysterious headmaster of Rhaesia University would pull off such a hilarious screw-up the moment he got off the plane.
Everyone stared quietly at the two old men dressed up like gentlemen. Everyone was speechless.
“Deal with them,” Stella said, hands shoved in her pockets, looking like she was about to lose it. She was practically radiating
annoyance.
Behind her, Houston, the legendary headmaster of Rhaesia University, stood with his hands folded in front of him, not even daring to breathe.
“O-Okay,” Zack stammered.
“I will go,” Stella said, turning to leave. But as she walked past the two old men, she stopped for a second and shot them a sideways glance.
Houston and his assistant just stood there, silent. The two old men blinked, then they plastered on their most flattering grins.
Stella kept her face blank. “Just do as they say and don’t make things difficult for them.”
Houston was famous for being sharp-tongued.
Houston nodded like a bobblehead. “Don’t worry, and also-”
As he spoke, he signaled his assistant to hand Stella a list. “Young Sovereign, these are the candidates Rhaesia University needs to assess in Jaffina this time. Please take a look! We really hope you can come and check them out yourself.”
As soon as he finished, Stella took the list from him.
Meanwhile, Zack, Tripp, and everyone else behind them just stood there, completely stunned.
‘Why is Stella the one reviewing the Rhaesia University candidate list?’ Zack thought, completely stunned.
Only now did it dawn on him. ‘Who on earth is Stella, that the headmaster of Rhaesia University would come running all the way here without a moment’s rest?’
“Stella,” Zack called out, stopping her just as she was about to leave.
‘Why can’t they just spit it all out at once?’ she grumbled inwardly, totally fed up.
She stopped and turned back. His expression remained completely blank.
Zack was so startled that he couldn’t even speak.
“Spit it out,” Stella said, her tone flat.
Zack quickly blurted out, “Stella, about that trouble you mentioned in the principal’s office the other day, you know, the one that might affect the school? Uh, I mean, will it mess up tomorrow’s morning assembly?”
These past couple of days, his phone has been ringing off the hook. His friends, family, and reporters had been blowing up his line nonstop.
And tomorrow, even Caleb was coming in person.
If anything really went wrong, Zack might as well prepare to lose his head.
Stella froze and considered for a moment.

Chapter 378
After a beat of silence, she said, “It will.”
Zack, Tripp, and everyone else behind them froze.
‘Seriously, Stella, could you be any more direct?’ they all thought
“What exactly is it going to affect?” Houston craned his neck from behind Stella, curiosity all over his face.
Without even glancing back, Stella reached out and shoved his head down. “Nothing major. Not your business.”
“Oh, okay.” Zack nodded, looking uneasy.
Stella arched a brow. “None of you have a weak heart, right?”
Zack, Tripp, and everyone else behind them were stunned for a moment.
Stella said, “You might want to stock up on some meds.”

‘If my guess is right, tomorrow’s morning assembly is going to be anything but peaceful, Stella thought to herself.
Zack, Tripp, and everyone else behind them were left speechless ‘Oh, no, everyone thought.
“I’m out,” Stella tossed out those words and was gone in a flash. Seconds later, the sound of a motorcycle engine foaring to life echoed from outside the hotel.
The next day, Monday, dawned bright and early.
The gates of Edenbury Academy and Technical High School had gotten a total makeover, and even the streets outside were spotless.
This time, the Technical High School students showed up way before the bell. All those wild hair colors were gone, back to normal.
Their uniforms, usually a mess, were now worn perfectly straight. If you hadn’t seen it for yourself, you’d never guess these were the same punks who used to ditch class and sneak smokes behind the gym.
“Leonardo!” he shouted, jogging over to their boss with a grin.
Out on the field, everyone was geared up and raring to go.
Thanks to Stella, they were all getting the rare chance to crash Edenbury Academy’s morning assembly next door.
Leonardo swept his gaze over the crowd.
