Years ago, when I broke up with Callum, he lost it and jumped off a bridge.
After they pulled him out, his immune system was completely wrecked.
He had to get a bone marrow transplant.
After a bone marrow transplant, your blood carries the donor’s DNA.
Any blood test would show the donor’s genetic markers, not yours.
So when you do a paternity test using blood, of course it’ll show he’s not related to our daughter.
I did it on purpose.
If I didn’t pull this stunt, he’d never agree to divorce me.
And he definitely wouldn’t let me take our daughter.
That post he made, that hidden phone–it all made me sick. I was fucking done with him.
If this marriage kept going, it would’ve destroyed both of us.
Callum crashed at some random hotel.
The second he woke up, he started hitting up everyone he knew, determined to find out who the guy was that “slept with Rory.”
But he had nothing. Not a single clue about this mystery man.
The friend on the other end of the line noticed Callum had gone silent and carefully asked:
“Bro, are you trying to find the guy Rory cheated with?”
That one question made Callum’s face go cold.
“Who told you Rory cheated?”
His friend sounded confused. “Sienna told everyone?”
“Everyone?”
Callum didn’t wait for an answer. He hung up, furious.
Now everyone in their circle knew he’d been cheated on.
Fucking humiliating.
For the first time, he realized how annoying Sienna was.
Without thinking, he called her.
The second she picked up, Sienna chirped, “Hey, bro!”

Callum didn’t respond. “You think of me as your bro, and this is what you do? Tell everyone I got cheated on?”
Sienna choked. Then she tried to explain. “I was just trying to stand up for you!”
“That bitch Rory betrayed you. I wanted everyone to know what she did so she’d be too ashamed to show her face!”
Callum exploded. “How is this any of your business?!”
“What I do with her–how is that your business? Why do you have to stick your nose in everything?”
“Fuck, maybe Rory cheated because you kept butting in!”
“Why the hell were you sending me all those messages?”
“Why’d you keep dragging me to clubs?”
“My daughter not looking like me–what’s that got to do with you?!”
“If you hadn’t said shit about my daughter, I wouldn’t have gotten that stupid paternity test!”
Sienna was stunned. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing:
“Bro, what are you saying? Aren’t you divorcing Rory?”
“I was doing this for you. How can you talk to me like this?”
“And what do you mean ‘your daughter‘? She’s a bastard! Are you insane?”
Callum wasn’t having it:
“Who said I was getting a divorce? Whether I divorce or not is none of your damn business!”
“Stay the hell away from me.”
“I bet Rory cheated because you pushed her to it, you idiot!”
““You better watch out. If she cheats again, I’m coming for you!”
Callum tore into Sienna until he felt better. Then he stopped.
Finally, he threatened her:
“Delete that Instagram post. And go tell everyone I didn’t get cheated on!”
“Or I’ll seriously beat your ass. I don’t hit women–I hit my bros!”
Sienna thought Callum had completely lost his mind.
She burst into tears, but Callum didn’t care. He just hung up.
A while later, he checked and saw she’d deleted the post. He texted her again:
“Did you tell everyone the truth?”
Sienna didn’t reply,

Chapter 9
Callum tried to think straight.
First, find the guy. Torture him. Then deal with Rory.
Rory. Rory. Rory!
The person he’d loved more than anything!
Just thinking about her made him want to explode.
Just as he was wishing the Earth would explode again, his mom called.
“You and Rory are getting a divorce?”
