“I’m gonna sleep with other women, and then I’m gonna come back and sleep with you!”

“Oh yeah, you saw it, right? I slept with that girl from the club last night. Way better than you!”

“She’s probably dirty as hell. I’m definitely infected now. Haha, I came back here just to sleep with you!”

“I’m gonna give you whatever disease I have. We’ll both rot together!”

He’d lost his mind.

I slapped him hard across the face, my nails leaving bloody scratches.

Callum’s eyes turned vicious. “You cheated on me and you still have the nerve to hit me?!”

I glared at him coldly. “You can cheat, but I can’t?”

Callum started to say, “When the hell did I-”

I cut him off with a cold laugh. “You think I didn’t go through everything on that hidden phone of yours?”

“Girls at the club are fun, huh? Those videos are hot, way better than me–so why’d you even marry me?!”

“You hated that I controlled you, kept you from having fun. Then why’d you cling to me in the first place?”

Callum went silent for a moment. Then he suddenly roared.

“I never touched them!”

I shot back sarcastically:

“Who knows? You said you’d keep your distance from Sienna, but you’ve been secretly texting her every day on a hidden phone. Must’ve been exhausting hiding it from me, huh?”

“You and Sienna have been sleeping together, haven’t you?”

“No wonder she ruined our wedding and you said it was fine!”

“Guess Sienna really knows how to make you feel good under sheets! No wonder you couldn’t let her go all these fucking years!”

“The group chat’s even called ‘We Love Sienna Forever.“”

“Am I getting in the way of your true love?”

Callum lost it. He let go of me and scrambled off the bed.

“She’s just my friend!”

“Stop making shit up!”

I laughed even harder. “Best friends kiss and sleep together, right? You’re both dudes anyway. I totally get it. Haha!”

“Stop laughing!”

Callum clutched his head in pain, then dropped his hands and pointed at me.

“You’re gaslighting me! Where’s your proof?!”

“The bastard kid you gave birth to is proof that YOU cheated. You’re the one in the wrong!!”

Hearing him call our daughter a bastard felt like my heart was being ripped apart.

I forced down the pain and turned away:

“Yeah, so why do you still want the bastard’s mom? You really wanna be a sucker and raise someone else’s kid that badly?”

Callum’s expression shattered.

He raised his fist like he was about to hit me, but it came down on the bed instead.

After a moment of silence, he seemed to realize something.

“You’re planning to be with that guy, aren’t you?”

“That’s why you’re pushing me to divorce you…

“Well, forget it.”

“I AM keeping the bastard!”

“I won’t feed her. I’ll hit her. I’ll yell at her. I’ll make her study hard, but I won’t let her go to college! When she turns eighteen, I’ll marry her off to some scumbag. I’ll ruin her life, and I’ll ruin yours too!”

I couldn’t take it anymore. I slapped him again.

This time, Callum stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

“You just wait! Once I find out who the bastard’s father is, I’ll kill him!”

“You think you and him are gonna dump me and ride off into the sunset? Dream on!”

He had no idea.

The “bastard’s father” he wanted to kill–was himself.
