Nathan replied.
In the hospital ward.
Joy played with everyone for a little while before his small head tilted to the side, falling fast asleep in Lizetta's arms.
Lizetta laid the boy gently on the bed, patting his tiny shoulders to help him drift into a deeper slumber.
She gazed lovingly at Joy's sweet face and whispered to Remington.
"I think he looks a little more like me, doesn't he?"
Children's features were still developing, and beautiful people often shared similar traits.
Even though Joy was absolutely adorable with his delicate features, it was still hard to pinpoint exactly who he favored more.
Hearing her words, Remington also lay down on the bed.
He wrapped his arms around Lizetta from behind, propping himself up on one hand as he peered over her shoulder at the little boy nestled in her embrace.
He deliberately teased her. "He obviously looks much more like me."
Lizetta didn't bother arguing. "Sure, sure, he looks like you."
Her thoughts slowly began to drift, returning to what Remington had mentioned earlier about a little girl who looked strikingly like Jerome.
That naturally led her to think of Kimberley, who had a complicated history with Jerome.
When Kimberley first debuted, her beauty was unparalleled. She had been hailed as the ultimate innocent sweetheart of the entertainment industry.
If those two ever had a baby, the child would undoubtedly be gorgeous.
With that thought, Lizetta suddenly remembered the beautiful mother she had caught a fleeting glimpse of at the children's play area when she went to pick up Fiona.
At the time, she felt the young, stunning mother looked incredibly familiar. Looking back now, wasn't that Kimberley without a drop of makeup?
That little girl was named Candy. With the last name Evert, she had to be Kimberley's daughter.
But did she take her mother's maiden name, or did the father also happen to share the same last name?

Does evil really triumph always above the good in this novel ? How comes Stella's evilness has no end? Does the author believes that by giving justice and importance to bad people like Stella will make this novel interesring? I am starting to lose my patience and ask when will the writer finally will realize that the protagonist is Lizetta and not Stella....
