Shattered Illusions Love Lies and Redemption (Lizetta and Remington) novel Chapter 1352

Lizetta scrambled up, kneeling on the hospital bed as she threw her arms around him from behind.

She pressed her cheek against his lean waist, rubbing affectionately against the firm lines of his muscles through the thin hospital gown, and coaxed him in a soft voice.

"Who says I don't love you? I love you so, so much! I really do!"

He visibly tensed at her words.

His emotions were clearly swaying, but he remained stubbornly silent.

Seeing this, Lizetta doubled down, her face turning a shade of rosy pink.

"I love you the absolute most, Remington. Forever and always."

She couldn't see it, but from the moment she hugged him, his lips had curved into an unstoppable grin.

He was flashing a perfect smile now, his chest vibrating softly as he fought the urge to laugh out loud.

He turned his head. "So, did you agree?"

Lizetta had no idea what she was agreeing to, but she figured Remington wouldn't ask anything unreasonable of her right now.

Plus, she was dying to know about the little girl.

She nodded vigorously. "I agree, I agree! Now tell me about that little girl."

Remington's lips twitched upward. "I don't know her name, but she looked to be about three or four years old. If you want the details, I can call the director over and ask."

Lizetta nodded eagerly. As Remington reached for his phone, she felt too impatient to wait.

"Never mind," she said. "You stay here with Joy. I'll go ask her myself."

With that, she bolted out of the room like a gust of wind.
