"You drove the rent up to astronomical levels and paid for three years upfront. Your goal was just to flaunt your power in front of me and prove you're true love, wasn't it?"

Quinn honestly couldn't understand why Dante kept showing up in front of her lately. A good ex-husband should act like he was dead.

"Quinn, I know you're angry, but this location isn't even that great. Let Vivienne have it."

Vivienne had already secured the lease, and Dante had no intention of taking it back from her. He knew Quinn's temper well enough to realize that even if he did, she would refuse to accept it.

Buying that courtyard at Sapphire Lake would have been perfect—she would have absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, that was no longer an option.

So, over the last two days, he had come up with a backup plan. "If it suits you, I can buy that office building on Brighton Way for you."

"Your birthday is coming up in a few days. Consider it my gift."

He locked his gaze onto hers, fully expecting to see a glimmer of joy on her face.

Instead of looking pleased, she gave him an expression that practically screamed, Did you really think I'd care?

Right on cue, the office door was pushed open again, and Vivienne strolled in.

"Quinn, Dante is so good to you. That building on Brighton Way is worth tens of millions. It would be an absolutely perfect spot for your new studio."

Dressed in a pristine white dress, Vivienne walked up to the pair with a radiant smile.

"What are you doing here?"

Dante glanced at Vivienne, clearly displeased by her sudden interruption, though he didn't reprimand her.

Vivienne's lips curved into a sweet, innocent smile. "Well, the lease is almost up, isn't it? I just came to see if Quinn needed any help moving."

She then turned to Quinn. "Quinn, if you're too pressed for time, you can always move out a bit later. I don't mind delaying my move-in by a few days."

She was clearly here to gloat, yet she wore a mask of boundless kindness and generosity.

Dante was obviously blind to her manipulative tactics, seemingly quite satisfied with Vivienne's behavior.

"Vivienne is being understanding. You should let this go."

Quinn was so furious she practically laughed. Standing up from her desk, she leveled a freezing glare at them both.
