Quinn looked at the unhinged Dante and asked coldly, "Do you really have to do this, Dante?"
Dante's handsome face was entirely shadowed. His voice was hoarse and chilling. "If you're going to make my life hell, Quinn, I'll make damn sure you don't walk away unscathed."
Completely ignoring Dante's threats, Raymond stepped forward, shielding Quinn behind him. His expression was stony, radiating an intimidating aura.
"Don't waste any more breath on him. Let's go!"
As far as Raymond was concerned, Dante was only throwing a tantrum out of bruised ego, lingering to harass Quinn with empty threats.
"If you have anything else to say, Mr. Hayes, I suggest you contact Ms. Yates's lawyer."
With that, he reached for Quinn's hand, intending to guide her back inside.
Dante anticipated the move. Just before Raymond's fingers could brush hers, Dante yanked her back to his side.
The mere thought of them holding hands was unbearable. It felt as if jealousy was going to rip his heart to shreds.
Dante's eyes frosted over completely.
"Leave?"
"Neither you nor my son are going anywhere without my permission."
Dante smirked coldly, delivering the command with absolute dominance.
Quinn looked up, shedding the final vestiges of her patience. Only pure frost remained in her eyes.
"We are already divorced, Dante."
"The paperwork is signed, stamped, and legally binding."
"That means you and I are nothing to each other anymore. You have zero right to restrict my freedom, or my son's."
"Divorced?" Dante looked as if he had just heard the biggest joke in the world, his gaze locking onto her with sinister intensity.
"That little certificate you sneaked around to get? It means absolutely nothing to me, Quinn."
He absolutely refused to recognize this rushed, absurd farce of a divorce.
Raymond's expression turned even colder. He stepped in again, positioning Quinn safely behind him, ensuring she was fully protected.
His voice rang out deep and forceful. "Watch yourself, Mr. Hayes. I've already called the police. They will be here shortly."
"The police? Heh. You think that scares me?"
