Tiffany stared at Raymond, her gaze wide and glistening.

She looked shy, yet almost intimidated.

Everything about Raymond—his face, his physique, his commanding presence, and that rugged, cold masculinity—drew her in completely.

It was the first time she had ever felt so captivated by a man.

She couldn't stop herself from finding excuses to get closer to him.

But he was incredibly unapproachable, and angering him would undoubtedly be terrifying.

Since he didn't say a word, she didn't dare pull the door open and invite herself in.

Quinn looked at Tiffany, the warmth fading from her smile.

In the back seat, Sarah and Sophie exchanged a meaningful glance. Though neither spoke, their mutual distaste for Tiffany was palpable.

Seeing Quinn's cold expression, Tiffany put on a timid, helpless look.

"I rode here in the photographer's car, but it filled up and left. Would you mind dropping me off on your way?"

"I saw you guys had an extra seat."

Quinn felt her patience wearing dangerously thin. Just as she was about to snap, the man in the driver's seat spoke, his voice like cracking ice.

"There's no room."

Tiffany's face drained of color. Refusing to accept defeat, she forced a stiff smile.

"Mr. Moretti, there's clearly a spot right there in the back."

The entire car was filled with the man's freezing aura. Quinn felt it, and the corners of her mouth curved up slightly.

She realized she wouldn't need to do a thing.

Instead, she simply looked down and started buckling her seatbelt.

"I've got it."

The man softly stopped her. Leaning toward her, his long arm reached over, grabbing the belt and clicking it securely into place for her.

Then, his tone softened dramatically. "Be good. I'll be right back."

Before Quinn could even process his words, Raymond pushed the door open and stepped out into the night, raising a hand to flag down a passing cab.

"Take this lady home."

He shoved a wad of cash at the driver, his expression aggressively indifferent the entire time.
