Quinn found it laughable that Dante was still convinced the man they just saw was Raymond.
"Dante, if you don't want to get thrown out of here and embarrass yourself completely, I suggest you stop talking nonsense."
"Nonsense?" Dante's voice ticked up in frustration.
"They share the exact same name, age, and face. How could it possibly be a coincidence? Doesn't that strike you as insane?"
Quinn simply smiled. "Then all I can say is that it's a hell of a coincidence."
"The world is full of wild coincidences. It's really not that strange."
Her eyes were perfectly clear and completely unfazed.
"I am absolutely certain."
"He and my Raymond are not the same person."
Dante stared at her in sheer disbelief. "How can you be so sure? They look exactly the same!"
"They just share a face," Quinn replied coolly.
"You really think it's just a coincidence? You don't have a shred of doubt?" Dante was furious at her blind trust. "You live with him every single day. Have you never noticed anything off?"
"Do you even know him?"
"Have you met his friends or family? You don't know a damn thing about him!"
Dante's words made Quinn falter for a split second.
But she didn't give him a chance to press the issue. She pulled out her phone and dialed Raymond's number.
"Hello?"
Raymond's deep, magnetic voice came through the line.
"Raymond, what are you doing right now?"
"I'm on a job. I probably won't be off until after midnight."
"That late?"
Just hearing his voice instantly settled her racing heart.
While on the phone, her gaze swept over the crowd and landed on the CEO of VGC Global, who was currently surrounded by a group of foreign investors.
Raymond held his phone as he walked from the beach outside the estate toward the main banquet hall.
