Shattered Vows: Call Me Auntie Now novel Chapter 381

After their intense session, Quinn lay nestled in Raymond's arms, completely drained of energy.

Despite being exhausted and half-asleep, she couldn't help but speak to him.

"Dante didn't show up at the party tonight for business. From the way he was acting, he seemed dead set on proving that you and the CEO were somehow connected."

Raymond stroked her bare back, savoring the feel of her luminous skin, his tone casual.

"He's got quite the imagination. Probably watches too much trash TV."

Quinn propped herself up slightly, using the dim light of the bedside lamp to trace his devastatingly handsome profile.

"But honestly, you do look a lot like him. Are you sure you don't have a twin brother?"

Raymond let out a low chuckle, the vibration of his chest sending a warm flutter straight through her.

"Twins don't run in my family."

"Are you absolutely positive?"

She tilted her head playfully. "Maybe you should tell your dad to get a DNA test with him."

"Who knows, maybe you were twins, but one of you got lost, only to rise from the ashes years later as a billionaire titan controlling all of Harbor Heights."

Raymond played along, looking genuinely interested. "And then?"

"Then your dad reunites with his insanely rich and powerful son, and you suddenly get a wealthy brother."

Caught up in her own wild scenario, Quinn's eyes sparkled as she expanded on the plot. "You'd be set for life. You wouldn't have to work this hard anymore. You could just kick back and enjoy the billionaire lifestyle. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me."

Raymond stared at her, a gentle amusement swimming in his dark eyes under the warm glow of the lamp.

He pinched her soft waist affectionately. "With an imagination like that, why aren't you a screenwriter?"

"Don't you have work tomorrow? You should get some sleep."
