"Yes, sir," the secretary reported truthfully. "Julian Zale, the reviewer who obstructed Ms. Yates today, has been fired. Furthermore, the company has expedited Ms. Yates's registration process."

Dante instantly caught the anomaly. "A termination and resolution that fast? How was it handled so quickly?"

Logically, even if the reviewer was caught manipulating the system, an investigation and official disciplinary action should take at least a day or two.

"Because Mr. Fletcher went down to the site personally," the secretary explained.

Dante was genuinely taken aback. "Mr. Fletcher went personally?"

An ordinary registration dispute shouldn't warrant the attention of senior management, let alone the top executive himself.

"Yes, sir."

The secretary sounded just as baffled. "This morning, headquarters was about to start a crucial meeting. Mr. Fletcher took a call from someone, completely canceled the meeting, and rushed down to the registration center with several senior executives."

"None of us know who on earth has that kind of immense pull."

On his end of the line, Dante's grip on his phone tightened noticeably.

He had assumed that the only way Quinn could successfully register was if he personally stepped in to pressure the organizers.

Yet, in the brief window while he was distracted by Vivienne fainting, someone else had effortlessly resolved the entire situation.

And this was someone powerful enough to force the president of the Lumina Fashion Competition to cancel meetings and personally rush down to defend her.

Clearly, Tara didn't possess that kind of terrifying power.

So who was it?

Since when did Quinn have access to this level of elite connections?

A suffocating wave of anxiety and a terrifying sense of the unknown flared in Dante's chest.

After hearing silence for a long moment, the secretary assumed he wasn't satisfied and added hastily, "Mr. Hayes, Mr. Fletcher handled it very severely. Julian wasn't just fired; he was blacklisted from the entire industry."

"Furthermore, the official competition channel just issued a live public apology to Ms. Yates."

With her competition application firmly secured, Quinn was in high spirits. She took Tara, Raymond, Lydia, and little Leo out for dinner.

Everyone got along flawlessly, and with Tara acting as the group's chaotic life of the party, the meal was effortlessly joyful.

After dinner, they said their goodbyes to Tara. Raymond took the wheel, driving Quinn, Lydia, and Leo back to Lunas Crest.

The night settled over the city, streetlights flickering to life one by one.

As they turned onto the private road leading to the villa, they immediately spotted a highly recognizable luxury black sedan parked by the curb.

The streetlamps illuminated the car's ridiculously expensive, sleek curves. Its headlights were off, radiating a heavy, suffocating tension in the dark.

Dante leaned against the side of the car, impeccably dressed. His tall, aristocratic frame cut a strikingly handsome silhouette in the shadows.

Raymond brought the SUV to a smooth halt, his gaze sliding over to the woman beside him.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Quinn's brows pulled together in a tight frown.
