If it had only been a wild theory before, this was absolute proof.

Raymond was a...

What else would two men be doing getting a hotel room in the middle of the afternoon?

Wild, steamy scenarios exploded in Quinn's mind, sending shockwaves through her core and completely shattering her worldview.

Oh my god!

She vigorously shook her head, her cheeks burning with an intense mix of embarrassment and pure shock.

She tried desperately to scrub the scandalous imagery from her brain, completely overwhelmed by the revelation.

Sitting at a red light, Tara glanced in the rearview mirror and saw Quinn shaking her head like a madwoman.

"Quinn? You okay?"

Quinn snapped her eyes open, feeling like the secret was burning a hole in her chest. But if she told Tara, she'd only be traumatizing her best friend too.

Whatever. She'd just have to suffer with this knowledge alone.

"I'm fine. Just a little dizzy."

Tara scolded gently, "You work too hard. Stop staying up late drawing designs. You'll give yourself wrinkles!"

Quinn forced a laugh. "I know."

Back at Lunas Crest, Lydia approached with a worried frown. "Mrs. Hayes, Leo has been looking for Ray all day."

"Do you want to call him and ask him to come back?"

Quinn cringed inwardly. The man was probably tangled up in the sheets with his Cullinan-driving sugar daddy right now. How could she possibly interrupt that?

She went to comfort her son instead.

Leo was sitting on the floor playing with blocks, his little lips set in a massive pout. He was clearly miserable.

She waved for Lydia to stay quiet and tiptoed into the living room.

Blocks were scattered everywhere. Leo was kneeling on the soft mat, clutching a blue block, his head drooping. He had zero interest in building anything.

"What's wrong, my little sweetheart?" Quinn crouched down and ruffled his soft hair. "Missing Ray?"

The little boy turned to her, his massive dark eyes shimmering with pure heartbreak, his pout deepening.

"Ray is mean!"

"He didn't play with me!"

"I'm so sorry, baby. I gave him the day off. Next time, I'll make sure to tell you first."

Quinn hugged him tight and pressed a block into his tiny hand.

But what if she interrupted something crucial?

Just as she was agonizing over her dilemma, the doorbell rang, the crisp chime cutting through the quiet house.

Lydia rushed over and checked the peephole.

"It's him! He's back!"

She cheered, throwing the door open.

Quinn's heart leaped into her throat, and she shot up, her eyes glued to the doorway.

A tall figure stepped out of the cool night air. Dressed in a sharply tailored suit, his broad shoulders and commanding, coldly handsome face practically screamed pure, unadulterated masculinity.

Quinn's pupils dilated. She froze completely.

A ridiculous, highly inappropriate thought crashed into her brain: That was fast!

Hadn't she told him not to come back until tomorrow morning?

Was it already over?

Was he the one who couldn't last, or was it the guy in the Cullinan?

A dozen scandalous theories collided in her head as she shamelessly raked her eyes up and down his body.
