“You can call me Mr. Fleming,” Dominic said calmly. “Let’s make a deal. I need your help with something. If I’m satisfied, I’ll help you fulfill your wish. Do you agree?”
Someone like this was hardly worth helping. Still, helping him meant helping Leona. More importantly, Dominic could use Tom to achieve his own goal.
Tom’s eyes lit up. He nodded at once. “I agree. I completely agree. Mr. Fleming, as long as you can help me, I’ll do anything.”
Dominic fixed him with a steady stare, his voice low and firm. “Good. Starting today, you’ll wait at the place where we just met. When I need you, I’ll come find you. If you leave that place, our deal is void. Do you understand?”
“No problem,” Tom said without hesitation. To him, Dominic was his only hope.
Dominic smiled. “Then it’s settled. You can go.”
Tom hesitated before asking, “Sorry, but what do you want me to do?”
Dominic’s smile remained, but his eyes turned icy. “Kill someone. Not just one. Do you dare?”
Tom froze for a brief moment. Then he smiled. “Mr. Fleming, there’s only what I can’t do. There’s nothing I don’t dare to do.”
As expected, nothing cut sharper than a desperate soul. Someone who no longer feared death had nothing left to fear.
At this point, Tom was already as good as dead. There was nothing he would not dare.
“Hahaha. You can do it,” Dominic said with a laugh.
He patted Tom’s shoulder and handed the cigarette back to him.
After sending Tom away, Dominic returned inside.
He checked on Lilith first. She seemed more focused than usual, which earned a nod of satisfaction. He then went to the kitchen
to cook.
He had no intention of using Tom, this blade, right away.
That day, he had told Alexander that he would wipe out his entire family. That was a man’s promise. Once spoken, it had to be honored.
For now, he only knew about Alexander and his mother, who had cancer. He did not know whether there were others. He would
observe first.
There was no need to rush.
A cold smile touched Dominic’s lips. Alexander had dared to threaten his life. He would have to bear the consequences.
Elsewhere, Alexander went to the hospital after work, exhaustion written all over hits face.
When he entered the ward, Mary stood up at once and closed the door.
“How did it go, Alex?” she asked.
He shook his head, his voice weak. “Mom, Bella won’t give me a good attitude anymore. At work, she treats me like nothing more than an ordinary subordinate.”
Mary frowned. After a moment’s thought, she said, “Find a way to slip her something. Do it so there’s no way back. It would be

best if she got pregnant with your child.”
Alexander’s eyes widened, his heart pounding. He hesitated. “I–Is that really okay? What if she gets angry?”
The thought of Isabella’s cold expression made him shudder. He did not want to die.
Mary let out a cold laugh. “Of course you can’t do it directly. You need a plan. First, get her to soften her attitude toward you. Once things return to how they were, find a chance to get her into bed. Take it step by step.”
Alexander shook his head, clearly troubled. “Her attention is all on Dominic now. It’s really hard to change her attitude.”
“Hehe. Then we need a strong move. We have to find that Dominic.” A flash of resentment crossed Mary’s eyes. She remembered every word Dominic had used to humiliate her.
Alexander asked quickly, “Once we find him, what do we do?”
A vicious smile spread across Mary’s lips. “I’ll go with you. We’ll provoke him. This time, we both have to get hurt. Seriously
hurt.”
“Is that really okay?”
“It’s more than okay,” Mary replied with complete confidence.
