Lilith finally started her summer break. The moment it began, she could not wait to stay at Katherine’s place.

Dominic had no choice. He complained that the girl was all grown up and could not be kept at home, then quietly sent her to Riverside Residence.

They reached Unit 902, and Dominic raised his hand to knock.

“Dad, I have the fingerprint!” Lilith darted in front of him and pressed her hand against the lock.

The bell chimed, and the door opened.

Dominic smiled and prepared to greet them.

The next second, both the people inside and outside froze in shock.

Isabella reacted first. She rushed over and covered Dominic’s eyes with her hand. “Honey, don’t look!”

A heartbeat later, Katherine let out a scream sharp enough to crack metal. “Ahhhhhhh…”

Isabella slammed the door shut, and it nearly hit Dominic in the face.

He turned away in stiff embarrassment, took out a cigarette, and waited until his racing heartbeat finally slowed.

That image of those beauties, however, refused to leave his mind.

After a long while, the door opened again.

When Dominic stepped inside, he saw Katherine wrapped tightly from head to toe, seated on the sofa. A vivid flush colored her

cheeks.

Dominic cleared his throat and asked, “What just happened? Why did you close the door on me?”

He had already decided to deny everything without exception.

Isabella’s eyes brightened. She declared with confidence, “See? Dom said he didn’t see anything. Sis, you can relax now, right?”

Katherine shot her a murderous glare. ‘Isabella, are you a damn pig? You doubt him when you should believe him, and you believe him when you absolutely should not.‘

She kept her gaze off Dominic and spoke in a stiff tone. “Lily will sleep here tonight. You can leave now. We won’t keep you for dinner.”

“Hey, what do you mean?” Isabella shot back.

She turned to Dominic at once and added, “Honey, don’t listen to her nonsense. Stay here. You can stay as long as you want. I’ll go upstairs and get your pajamas.”

Katherine stared at her in disbelief. “This is my house. Are you out of your mind? You want to keep him here? Is that appropriate?

Dominic ignored Isabella. He crouched in front of the still–dazed girl and spoke gently “Stay here and play with your aunt. If anything happens, call Daddy on your phone watch, okay?”

Lilith nodded repeatedly.

Dominic straightened and told Katherine, “Then I’ll head out first. I’ll contact you later.”

“Mm–hmm.” Katherine nodded coolly.
