Dominic was momentarily dumbfounded. He genuinely could not reconcile the twin–ponytailed young woman in front of him with the heavy–makeup delinquent he had seen in the past.

“I pick neither.” Dominic pulled out his phone, his expression flat. “I’m calling the police.”

“Go ahead. Call them. I don’t care. There’s no surveillance here. Without evidence, don’t you dare accuse me.”

Jessica giggled as she spoke, showing not the slightest trace of fear. Even if there were evidence, she would not be afraid.

As long as it was not a murder with irrefutable proof, her background could smooth everything over.

Dominic’s pupils contracted and his expression darkened. He studied Jessica for a moment, then said, “Where do you want me to go with you?”
