Dominic drew a deep breath before speaking. “Clement should still be in the villa.”

“Isn’t Clement right here…” David replied instinctively.

The next second, realization struck. He ground his teeth and said, “You mean Clement’s body is still inside the house?”

Dominic lowered his voice. “If nothing unexpected happened, yes.

Dominic asked evenly, “Is there a basement in the house?”

“But Mandy could not restrain herself. She went out fooling around again, and I noticed a few clues. Suspicion grew, so I installed cameras in the room and deliberately stayed away from home. Sure enough, I caught footage. Heh.

“When she realized everything was exposed, she worked with her lover to kill me. Only after I died did I learn that Clement had already been killed by her long ago.”
