Chapter 219
After so many years, Andriana finally saw her father, even if only for a brief moment. The image of him seeing her off at her wedding was now etched into her memory forever.
At the very least, she could show the photo to the baby growing inside her and say, “Look. That man is your grandfather.”
Dominic waved and replied, “You’re welcome.”
Andriana stared at him, a flicker of surprise crossing her face.
After a moment’s hesitation, she asked uncertainly, “Are you… Dominic Fleming?”
Dominic looked startled. “You know me?”
She paused to think, then said, “I saw your photo on a forum.”
Dominic smiled with quiet resignation. Even after leaving Skyline University, stories about him still circulated on campus. His looks made that inevitable.
He waved dismissively. “Ah, it’s nothing. Really, it’s nothing.”
Andriana gave a brief response, then her expression turned solemn. “Mr. Fleming, I’m truly grateful to you. If there’s ever anything I can do to help, please don’t hesitate to ask.”
Dominic glanced at his watch. “I need to go.”
Panic flashed across her face. “You’re leaving? At least stay and eat something.”
Dominic shook his head with a faint smile. “Happy wedding. I wish you a lifetime of happiness.”
With that, he turned and left without looking back.
Andriana stood there, frozen for a moment, before slowly sitting down.
Just then, Evan rushed in.
“Where’s Dad?” he asked urgently.
“He left,” Andriana replied softly.
“How could he leave? He hasn’t eaten…” Evan cut himself off mid–sentence.
His gaze fixed on the suit lying on the floor. It was the same one Mason had been wearing moments ago.
Evan’s pupils constricted, shock washing over his face.
Andriana bent down, gathered the suit to her chest, and spoke calmly. “Evan, find out everything you can about Dominic Fleming at JewelMed.”
She had already seen his name and company on his ID badge earlier.
“Why?” Evan asked.
“For the lab’s products.”
He froze briefly, then asked in a rush, “You mean you want the company, or him, to become a distributor?”
“No.” Andriana shook her head. “Exclusive licensing.”
Evan hesitated for several seconds, then nodded.

Elsewhere, Dominic had just left the Grand Skyline Hotel when a long–forgotten surge of energy rose within him.
He suddenly realized that when Tom had disappeared last time, there had been no such response.
Sitting in the car, Dominic reflected in silence. ‘Could it be related to the transaction I made with Tom?
If this surge was some form of merit or reward, then it made sense. Tom’s help had not been a simple favor. It carried intent.
That intent changed the nature of the exchange, which explained the absence of any similar feedback before.
‘It seems that every gain came with a corresponding loss.‘ Dominic shook his head and headed to the office.
Abigail and the others had not returned. When he called her, she explained that she needed to visit another group of clients in the afternoon and told him not to bother picking her up.
Dominic spent the rest of the day idling at his desk.
At 4:00 p.m., he left work on time.
As he stepped out of the Garcia Group tower, he spotted a young, beautiful woman standing beneath a nearby tree. Her smile blossomed like a flower in full bloom.
