“Dominic, what were you just talking about with my brother?” Katherine asked as she saw Dominic come back in.

He smiled. “I told him not to worry. It’s fine.”

Katherine gave a brief reply, then asked with clear concern, “Dominic, do you think that pervert might come back? That… was really scary.”

At the mention of that man, fear flickered in her eyes. Only when she looked at Dominic did she feel even the slightest sense of safety.

Dominic thought for a moment, then said, “Sigh. I think there’s a very high chance he’ll turn back from the wrong path, fully realize his mistakes, and never dare do something like that again.”

Isabella looked thoughtful. She more or less understood what Dominic and Oliver had discussed on the phone, so she said, “It’s all right now, Kathy. He definitely won’t dare come back.”

Isabella frowned. Hearing her sister call him Dominic again and again had never seemed like an issue before. But today, it felt inexplicably uncomfortable.

More importantly, when Isabella had pushed the door open earlier, she had seen her sister and her husband hugging. That image still lingered in her mind.

Katherine bit her lip. “Um… I’m hungry. How about I go to your place and eat with you?”

When she came back out, she was pushing a suitcase.

Isabella’s eyes widened. “Sis, what are you doing?”

Katherine cleared her throat. “Since I’m already eating at his place, what’s the big deal if I eat a few more meals there?”

Something felt off to Isabella, though she could not quite explain why. “That may be true, but…‘

“All right, all right, let’s go. I’m starving,” Katherine said, ignoring Isabella’s expression as she walked straight ahead.

They went downstairs together.

Just as Katherine was about to get into Dominic’s car, Isabella hurried over and stopped her. “Hey, get in my car. I need to talk to you.”

Katherine had no choice but to climb into Isabella’s Porsche. Given her expression, there was even a faint hint of disappointment.

Dominic did not mind. He started the car and drove toward Luxe Residence.
