Dominic raised an eyebrow. “You know when to bend. That’s already better than your younger brother.”
Elijah replied flatly, “Zachary is an only child. He doesn’t have a younger brother.”
“Is that so?” Dominic smiled faintly, neither confirming nor denying it, and lifted his foot.
The bodyguards rushed forward at once and helped Zachary up.
“Easy… It’s broken. My bones are broken.” Zachary’s mouth twitched as he spoke in a trembling voice. The pain made his entire body shudder.
Dominic crouched down, patted his shoulder, and said, “Don’t provoke me next time. Or rather, forget it. You don’t have many chances left anyway. Treasure them.”
Zachary stared at him without a word. Resentment burned deep in his eyes, though he kept it carefully hidden.
Dominic’s smile widened. He straightened, clapped his hands, and said, “That settles it.”
He turned and walked toward his car. Just as he was about to get in, he paused and told Elijah, “You’re not planning to call the cops, are you?”
Elijah said nothing.
Dominic shook his head and opened the car door. Then he suddenly exclaimed, “Holy shit. My dashcam wasn’t even on?”
The corner of Elijah’s mouth twitched.
“Damn this old car. Once the engine’s off, there’s no power. Careless. Way too careless.” Still muttering, Dominic got into the
car.
The engine roared. He backed up slightly, made a clean turn, and drove out of the villa grounds.
“Hurry and take him to the hospital,” Elijah thundered as he looked at his badly injured son.
“Dad!” Zachary panted, forcing the word out with great effort.
Elijah rushed over. “Whatever it is, we’ll talk after we get to the hospital.”
“I can’t take this.” Fury burned so fiercely in Zachary’s eyes that it was almost tangible. He forced the words out through clenched teeth. “Dominic! I want revenge. I want him completely ruined!”
After Dominic left the Grant residence, his expression settled into calm. He stared ahead, his gaze steady and distant.
After checking the time, he decided not to go straight to the office. Instead, he headed to the Maple Detective Agency.
Once inside, Peter led him into a quiet office. He took out a stack of photos and handed them over. “These were all taken recently.”
Dominic flipped through them, rubbed his chin, and clicked his tongue in amazement. “Wow. Playing it this wild? What a waste of such a good name.”
Peter smiled and said nothing.
Dominic put the photos away. “Keep following.”
Peter nodded quickly.
After leaving the detective agency, Dominic finally went to the office.

JewelMed buzzed with activity. Every employee wore a smile.
Yesterday had been a flawless opening, and today’s order volume promised to be just as strong. At this pace, this month’s revenue would reach at least several hundred million dollars.
When Dominic entered, the office fell quiet.
He smiled. “Relax. Talk all you want.”
Peals of laughter quickly returned to the workspace. Several young women cast furtive glances at the chairman, their eyes bright with interest.
Dominic crossed the office floor, stopped at Jewel’s door, and knocked.
“Come in.” She was inside.
He opened the door and said, “Miss Wright, I think we need to change the company address.”
When Jewel saw him, a smile lit her eyes. “You’re the chairman. That’s your call.”
JewelMed was no longer what it used to be. An office of only a few hundred square meters could no longer meet its needs.
Dominic considered it briefly. “For now, let’s rent an office building of around 20,000 square feet.”
“For now?” Jewel asked, puzzled.
Dominic smiled faintly. “In the long run, the company should have its own building. We’ll call it JewelMed Tower. What do you think?”
‘JewelMed Tower…‘ Jewel’s eyes trembled as she looked at him. She pressed her lips together, emotion surging in her chest, and for a moment, she could not find the words to respond.
