The young man was visibly overwhelmed as he remained on his knees before Dominic.
The parents nearby stood frozen in shock as they gathered their children.
Dominic frowned slightly, then let his expression soften. He smiled and extended a hand. “Get up.”
Back then, the young man had lost his soul. In the entire world, Dominic had been the only one who could save him. Kneeling before him felt only right.
The young man rose to his feet, his agitation plain to see. “Sir, I finally found you. After we parted last time, the only thing I remembered was your daughter’s school uniform, so I waited here all this time.”
Dominic smiled and said, “How’s your family now?”
A smile appeared on the young man’s face as he said, “My name’s Brian Wilson. I’m cured now, and my mom isn’t suffering so much anymore. It’s all because of you!”
Dominic nodded. “That’s good. My surname’s Fleming. You can call me Mr. Fleming.”
Brian nodded.
At that moment, Katherine got out from the passenger side and asked in surprise, “Dominic, what’s going
on?”
Dominic waved his hand and casually said, “It’s nothing. I helped him with a small favor before.”
Brian hurriedly explained, “It wasn’t a small favor, it really wasn’t!”
From when he was young, his soul had left his body. He could only watch helpiessly as his mother endured endless hardship, raising a soulless version of him to adulthood.
But he could only watch. He couldn’t do anything. Every time he saw his mother cry, he felt that living like this was worse than dying. But he couldn’t even die.
Dominic had saved him. To him, it was a kindness equal to being reborn, even greater than saving his life. How could it be called a small favor?
Seeing this, Katherine was surprised by how respectful the young man was toward Dominic.
She smiled and said, “Knowing gratitude and repaying it. You’re a good kid.”
Brian only glanced at Katherine before shifting his eyes and saying, “Hello, Mrs. Fleming.”
Katherine’s face instantly flushed. She didn’t explain and said, “You guys talk. I’ll sit in the car for a bit.”
After saying that, she quickly went back to the car.
Dominic shook his head and said, “Since you’re better now, you should work hard. You’re still young. Work properly so your mother won’t have to suffer so much.”

Brian was already 18. Going back to school now was obviously unrealistic.
“I will. Could you leave me a way to contact you? If I ever make it, I can repay you,” Brian said cautiously.
Dominic looked at the hopeful expression on his face. Suddenly, something stirred in his heart, and he said, “Do you have a job right now?”
Upon hearing this, a trace of gloom appeared in Brian’s eyes. “I’m young and don’t know anything. No
one wants me.”
During this period, although his mother told him to rest, he couldn’t relax. He wanted to share her burden. Other than waiting outside the school gate at dismissal time, he tried at many places, but still couldn’t find a job.
Dominic smiled and said, “How about working for me?”
You could know a person’s facade but not their heart. No one could see whether someone hid a demon inside. But Dominic had seen Brian’s soul. This young man was absolutely pure.
Brian froze for a moment, then became excited. “As long as you give the word, I’ll do anything!”
“Good,” Dominic said, “Wait for me here for a moment.”
Brian nodded.
Dominic went to an ATM nearby, withdrew 3,000 dollars, then walked back and handed it to him.
Brian waved his hands repeatedly and said anxiously, “Mr. Fleming, how can I take your money? Just tell me what you need done. I don’t want money, not a single dollar!”
“Listen to me,” Dominic said patiently. “Take this money. Buy yourself a phone, then go get a driver’s license. From now on, you’ll be my chauffeur.”
