She Chose Him Now She Wants Me Back novel Chapter 442

Dominic was surprised. He had expected Zachary’s arrival, but Oliver’s presence caught him off guard.

He glanced at the masked woman. Her eyes were striking, luminous and sharp, yet unfamiliar. He was certain he had never seen

her before.

Oliver snapped, Dominic, what the hell are you staring at?

The corner of Dominic’s mouth twitched. He mouthed, Idiot.

Oliver understood at once. The veins at his temples throbbed. He shot Dominic a vicious glare and forced himself to hold back. There were more important matters to settle first. He would deal with Dominic later.

The warehouse fell silent.

Scarface stared at his men sprawled across the floor. Shock gave way to fury. Who the hell are you people?

Zachary smiled faintly as he stepped forward. He did not bother with introductions and drove a kick into Scarface’s chest. You’ve got some nerve. You dare mess with Mr. Fleming? Tired of living?

Scarface crashed to the ground. Anger burned in his eyes, but when he saw the other side’s disciplined, welltrained bodyguards, he swallowed his rage and kept quiet.

Zachary turned to Dominic. Mr. Fleming, these people offended you. How would you like to handle them?

Dominic saw through the performance at once.

Scarface might be reckless, but he was not foolish enough to provoke Dominic over a handful of insignificant members of the Hayes family. The conclusion was obvious. Zachary had orchestrated this entire farce.

The Grant Group stood on the brink. Its market value had plummeted again and again. Senior officials in Skyline City, who once maintained carefully ambiguous ties with the Grants, now rushed to distance themselves.

The family had run out of options. Reconciliation with Dominic had become a necessity. Otherwise, the Grants of Skyline City would face real danger.

Even so, a starving camel outweighed a horse. Zachary remained the Grantswellknown heir, far above a thug like Scarface.

Dominic answered evenly, I always keep my word.

Zachary’s brow creased. He looked down at Scarface. What did Mr. Fleming say to you?

Scarface hesitated, then replied, He said those peopleTheir whole family’s going to die tonight.

William and the others, already reeling, began to tremble. They felt the weight of countless eyes settling on them.

Zachary’s pupils contracted. Uncertainty flickered across his face.

Not far away, Oliver watched with open amusement.

Dominic gave no further response. He gestured for two bodyguards to lower Max to the ground.

Once Max lay flat, Dominic crouched to examine him. Anger flashed in his eyes.

Blood streaked Max’s body. His physique was stronger than most, yet even he had suffered badly. Another man might have been half dead by now.

Dominic straightened and fixed Scarface with a glacial stare.

Scarface’s eyes flew wide. He flailed his hands in panic. It wasn’t me. It was them, especially that woman. She was the most ruthless.

He pointed frantically at William’s family.

Dominic said nothing. He lifted Max onto his shoulder in one smooth motion and headed for the exit.

Zachary made his decision at last. Mr. Fleming, wait!

Dominic stopped and looked at him without expression.

Zachary drew a slow breath. He pointed at the group on the floor and spoke coldly to Scarface. Take your people and get out.

Relief flooded Scarface’s face. He scrambled up and bolted for the door. His men followed close behind.

William’s family tried to slip away with them, but at Zachary’s signal, the bodyguards seized and restrained them.

You can’t leave.

Within two minutes, the warehouse had emptied of nearly everyone.

PleaseWilliam began. The others joined him, panic breaking through their composure. A sharp slap cut off their pleas.

Dominic remained silent.

Zachary faced him. Mr. Fleming, after tonight, how about we wipe the slate clean between us?

Dominic lifted a brow. He offered no reply.

Resentment flickered in Zachary’s eyes.

A few seconds passed. He clenched his teeth and called out, Neil!
