Moments earlier, she had seen Dominic and Autumn holding hands. The sight had soured her mood, so she had stepped outside for air. She had not expected to return to a scene like this.

Rage burned through her. She addressed her sister by name without hesitation.

Jade’s expression hardened. ‘Is that how you speak to me?”

Jewel strode to Dominic’s side and clenched her jaw. “You’ve gone too far. This is bullying.”

When Dominic saw her, he let out a quiet laugh. “What are you doing here?”

Jewel stared at him in disbelief. “You’re being bullied like this and you can still laugh?”

“It’s nothing,” Dominic replied, his tone casual.

Standing beside him, Lydia sighed. “Eye–opening. Truly eye–opening. I never expected wealthy families to be this filthy.”

Irritation flashed across Jade’s face. She waved a hand and spoke coldly. “Enough. My daughter’s birthday party is about to begin. I don’t have time to waste here. Dominic, settle the bill and leave.”

Jewel could hardly believe what she was hearing. “You’re driving him away? Where’s your basic decency?

Disgust filled Jade’s eyes. She felt no goodwill toward Dominic and made no effort to hide it.

“I welcome normal guests,” she said. “I don’t welcome people who refuse to accept a loss.”

“This family isn’t worth staying with anyway,” Isaac sneered and pulled out a card. “Settle the bill.”

Dominic stopped him. “Mr. Moore, there’s no need to use your money.”

Isaac paused, then spoke with quiet resolve. “Mr. Fleming, don’t stand on ceremony. Our relationship can’t be measured in money.”

He understood Dominic’s financial situation. White Cosmos No. 1 had immense potential, but the company was still young. Its current cash flow amounted to only a few hundred million dollars. There was no way Dominic could produce more than 100,000,000 dollars for this round.

Mockery flickered across Jade’s face. Her disdain deepened. Even now, Dominic clung to his pride and refused to yield.

She said pointedly, “So, are you planning to mortgage your assets?”

Isaac stiffened. He immediately realized that Jade had set her sights on White Cosmos No. 1. His expression darkened. “That’s a disgraceful way to do business.”

By now, Jade had clearly chosen a side. There was no point in raising Logan’s cheating again.

Jade glanced at the two chips in his hand and laughed. “Why bother?”

Dominic ignored her and looked at Logan. “Let’s continue.”

Logan glanced at the mountain of chips in front of him, then at the two between Dominic’s fingers. After a brief calculation, he nodded. “Fine.”

He sneered inwardly. Once he won those two chips, the round would end. No one would ever bring up

his cheating again.

Benedict shook his head. ‘Dominic, you’ve made a terrible move. What can two chips accomplish? Do you think you’re the King of Poker, turning 20,000 dollars into 200,000,000?‘
