He turned and went to find Miles. Seeing him pushing Jade's son on the swing, Zachary cleared his throat.

Noticing Zachary's arrival, Jade smiled, picked up Leo, and brought him over to say hello.

After Leo greeted him, he ran straight back to the swing.

"Jade, you're here too."

Jade maintained her elegant, gentle smile. "Zachary, it's been a while. This is the first time I've seen you since I got back to the States."

The last time their circle of friends had gathered at Cherry Lake Park, Zachary hadn't shown up, claiming the hospital was too busy.

"Even if you and Quinn are only in a contract marriage, could you at least try to keep her from getting hurt so much?"
