Quinn shielded her best friend, casting a cold, piercing glare. "Macy, how can you be so vicious? Caleb just didn't want to take off his mask, and you call him a monster?"

This was the very phrase Macy had once used to lecture her, but now it was thrown right back.

Macy retorted through gritted teeth, "I called him that. So what?"

"Macy!"

Miles's towering height brought an overwhelming sense of pressure, his ink-black eyes seeming to harbor a freezing frost.

He ordered darkly, "Apologize!"

Seeing her brother back her up, Macy looked down her nose at Quinn and Yara.

"Did you hear that? My brother told you to apologize to me. Otherwise, you're not walking out of those doors today!"

Miles's expression tightened. "I told you to apologize to Caleb!"

Macy looked up in disbelief. "What? Miles, what... are you saying?"
