He could call Miles, and Miles would still have time to come save her.

Hearing AJ volunteer his sister, Bruiser stroked his chin and laughed.

"Sweetheart, if you want to save your brother, drink up. Give it three days, and maybe I'll even cut you a discount on the interest."

Knowing Bruiser was out of patience and terrified of losing his leg, AJ frantically urged her on.

"Quinn, Bruiser keeps his word. Just do me this one favor and drink it."

Quinn glared at him with pure hatred. "AJ, are you trying to throw me to the wolves? You've practically lived at The Aurora Club—are you telling me you don't know these drinks are drugged?"

AJ avoided her eyes, mouthing silently, "Quinn, I... I'll save you."

Quinn didn't believe him for a second. If he had any ability to save himself, he wouldn't have dragged her into this mess.

Seeing the siblings whispering without making a move toward the drinks, Bruiser's patience completely evaporated. "So you're not drinking?"

Understanding their boss's cue, a couple of thugs hurled beer bottles that shattered right at AJ's feet.

Terrified out of his mind, AJ scrambled forward and grabbed the wine glass himself.

Crying, he shoved it toward his sister. "Quinn, save me! I can't lose my leg!"
