Quinn felt like this toxic duo would never leave her alone.

With a smug smirk, she couldn't resist showing off. "Oh, you probably don't know this yet, but Miles added an extra two percent to the contract with my family. Do you know what that two percent means?"

Quinn had accidentally seen the paperwork the other day. Even though Hunter claimed it was compensation for Jade saving Macy York from a falling billboard, hearing Jade use it to gloat still sent a tiny, inexplicable ripple through her normally calm heart.
