"You..." His voice was so hoarse it barely sounded human.
Giselle ignored him entirely. Her hand slowly slid downward...
It wasn't that she hadn't touched him before. Years ago, she had traced every inch of him countless times. But returning to it after all these years felt like forcing a rusted key into an ancient lock—it jammed forcefully against all the buried memories, before violently snapping every single inhibition wide open.
Hank's head snapped back, driving into the headboard. The thick veins corded along the sides of his neck, his Adam's apple bobbing frantically as he swallowed hard.
Giselle stared down at where her hand wrapped around him, then slowly dragged her gaze back up to his face. Sprawled out under the lights, he was absolutely magnificent. Broad, powerful shoulders tapered down to a narrow waist. The deep, rigid grooves of his abdominal muscles cut a sharp path downward, pointing directly to where she held him captive.
Without warning, she entirely let go.
Hank's breath completely hitched. His eyes snapped open, blazing with an overwhelming, frantic mixture of raw lust and sudden panic.
"What's wrong?" he demanded, his voice shaking violently. "Are you not satisfied?"
He was genuinely on the verge of a complete mental breakdown.
Slipping off the bed, Giselle stood at the edge of the mattress and slowly began unfastening her own clothes.
Hank's dark eyes were pinned on her every movement. His Adam's apple bobbed again, a harsh, desperate swallow in the quiet room.
When she finished, Giselle climbed back onto the bed, straddling his waist. This time, there was absolutely zero fabric between them. Bare skin met bare skin; burning body heat melted into burning body heat.
