She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 337

Stella made quick work of the two men, knocking them down in seconds.

Without missing a beat, she rushed over to help Sabrina.

Grabbing whatever she could find, Stella swung wildly at the thugs surrounding her friend, desperate to break through.

Meanwhile, Shawn had already dealt with the six men trying to flank them.

He didn’t dare waste a single second. Gripping an iron rod, he barreled toward the crowd circling Sabrina, swinging it with all his strength.

In the chaos, the girl at the center barely looked like herself—her hair was loose and wild, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. Crimson stained her white dress, but it was impossible to tell whether it was hers or someone else’s.

The three of them—Stella, Sabrina, and Shawn—stood back to back, forming a tight defensive ring.

“You okay?” Shawn called out.

Sabrina wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. “Still breathing.”

Stella flashed a reckless grin. “We’re not dying today. I swear, I’ll split their heads open before that happens.”

Not far away, Frank had already been knocked to the ground, writhing and howling in pain.

“I’ll pay you! Five million!” he shouted, desperation cracking his voice.

Just as a thug raised his iron rod to smash Frank’s face, the blow never landed. Instead, the man hesitated mid-swing, clearly mulling over Frank’s offer.

Frank caught the hesitation and scrambled to his feet, seizing the chance to keep talking.

“Look, you want money, I want to live—no conflict there. Besides, your real target is Sabrina, right? I’m just some nobody. No reason for you to waste your time on me, is there?”

The two thugs exchanged a glance. Frank’s logic made sense. They’d only come along to rough up that woman—boss promised them each five grand if things went according to plan. To guys like them, it was just a payday.

Damn it. All of them were hurt—if this kept up, they might not make it out alive.

He’d managed to text the police earlier while grabbing his phone, but in his panic, he’d sent it to the fire department instead. He’d never called for help before and had no idea if anyone would even see his message—let alone forward it to the cops.

For now, all he could do was stall.

Lost in thought, he barely noticed the two men looming over him. One of them pulled up a payment app on his phone and shoved the screen in Frank’s face.

“Scan the code. Right now. Don’t waste our time.”

Frank nearly laughed at the guy’s gullibility.

He quickly opened his banking app and pretended to check his balance, stalling for time. All he had was $160—barely enough for food for the week. His father had cut him off, and his brother wasn’t any kinder. They’d made sure he had no access to money, telling everyone not to lend him a dime. If he stayed out of trouble and improved at school, maybe they’d loosen up. Until then, he was flat broke.

Frank gave an awkward smile. “Listen, man—there’s a limit on transfers. If I try to send that much at once, the account’ll get flagged and frozen. Then we’re all in trouble, right?”
