She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 338

The man’s face changed as he caught on—it sounded like there was a transfer limit.

But honestly, he’d never come across that problem before.

His account had never held more than a couple thousand dollars, so he’d never had to worry about any so-called limits.

“So, what’s your solution?” one of them asked.

“Here’s what I’ll do,” Frank said. “I’ll wire you a $100 deposit now. Then I’ll call my assistant and have him send the rest straight to your account. Sound good?”

Both men perked up at that—it was workable, why not?

“Alright, send it now,” one of them said, holding out his phone with a QR code on the screen.

Frank pulled out his own phone to scan the code, wincing inwardly. It was half his living expenses for the month. Well, at least Shawn might be able to spot him some cash later—assuming Shawn made it out of this alive…

A moment later, his phone buzzed: “You’ve received $100 via WhatsApp.”

In the middle of this tense standoff, that cheerful notification felt almost surreal.

One minute they were about to throw punches; the next, they were closing a business deal.

“It’s gone through,” said the man. “Now call your assistant. We’ll wait.”

“Yeah, call now,” the other insisted.

Frank tapped his phone a few times, then put it to his ear.

Almost instantly, someone picked up. “Port City Police Department, how can we help you?”

Frank kept his tone steady. “Yeah, I’ve run into a little issue here. My cash flow’s tied up, and I need you to wire me half a million. Right away.”

Officer: “Sir, do you realize you’ve called emergency services?”

Frank: “Of course, I know. Why wouldn’t I?”

Officer: “Are you in danger and unable to speak freely?”

Frank: “That’s right.”

Frank’s nerves were shot. Watching his three friends getting beaten and bloodied, he felt utterly useless—a dead weight, just trying not to drag them down further.

Come on, police, hurry up…

Meanwhile, the crowd around them was thinning out.

Some people groaned in pain on the ground; others clutched their stomachs, unable to stand.

But all the bodies on the ground belonged to the enemy.

Frank’s three friends stood their ground like battered warriors—wounded but unbowed.

Sabrina checked her watch, calculating that Samuel was at least three minutes away.

Things were looking grim.

She glanced over at Frank, who, not far off, was idly chatting and smoking with the two men in black, as if he hadn’t a care in the world.
