She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 339

Just then, someone at the mouth of the alley let out a loud yell.

Seizing the moment as their pursuers were distracted, the three of them exchanged a silent understanding and scattered in different directions.

Frank felt a sudden gust, like a whirlwind brushing past him. Almost immediately, a pair of surprisingly strong hands grabbed him and pulled him into a sprint.

It was Stella!

Running was the last thing Frank wanted to do. He had already convinced those two idiots he was on their side. All he needed was to wait a few more minutes for the police to arrive and catch them red-handed.

But Stella had no idea what he was planning.

So he ended up being dragged along, forced to run beside her.

When the other two saw Frank making a break for it, they cursed, tossed their cigarettes aside, and launched after him in hot pursuit.

Frank tore himself free from Stella’s grip. “If I die today and end up in hell, I’ll make sure the devil knows it was you who dragged me down with you,” he grumbled.

Stella just stared at him, dumbfounded. What was that supposed to mean? She was trying to save him, and now it was somehow her fault?

She rolled her eyes at him. “Fine. Lie down here and play dead if you want. I’ll keep moving.” As soon as she said it, she realized how that could be misinterpreted.

Without missing a beat, she gave him a hard shove, sending him stumbling down another side street. She had no intention of risking her life with him.

Frank snapped back, furious. “Why’d you kick me? Now we have to run together! I already called the cops—they’ll be here any minute to save us!” He barely got the words out before a furious shout erupted behind them.

“You little rat! You dare trick me? I’ll cut you into pieces tonight!”

Suddenly, a new possibility struck him—Hector. Sabrina and Hector had bad blood. Ever since she humiliated him in that high-stakes bet, Hector had held a grudge. Would he resort to this?

As Shawn neared the chaos, he reached out, yanked one of the attackers off his feet, and slammed him to the ground. The guy howled in pain, unable to get up. Back to back with Sabrina, Shawn used his body as a shield, whispering, “Catch your breath—I’ve got this.”

But no matter how tough Shawn was, Sabrina had no intention of leaving him to face this alone.

She gave him a curt reply. “Together.”

A bloody determination gleamed in Shawn’s eyes as a wicked grin played at his lips.

Meanwhile, Stella was totally thrown off by the chase. She could handle herself, but Frank’s wild panic had thrown her off her game.

Frank, already exhausted, kept running and shouting over his shoulder, “You idiots have no idea who you’re messing with! When my father finds out, you’ll all be dead meat!”
