Sorry for Your Loss, It's Me, I'm the Loss novel Chapter 510

“What time is your flight? I’m also heading back to Istra today. We could take the same flight,” Thomas said, looking at her.

“It's a five p.m. flight,” Yvonne replied.

She didn't really care. It wasn't her private jet, so whether Thomas was on the same flight was none of her business.

“Then I’ll have my assistant…” Thomas was about to say he’d have his assistant book a ticket when a deep, magnetic male voice suddenly called out from behind him, “Yvonne.”

Yvonne instinctively turned at the sound of her name and saw a black Mercedes parked at the hotel entrance. Bennett was standing by the car, a lit cigarette held between two fingers of his left hand.

“Bennett!” Yvonne’s eyes lit up when she saw him.

She hurried over to his side, asking cheerfully, “What are you doing here?”

“I had some business nearby and was passing through. You said last night that you were wrapping up today, so I came to take you home.” Bennett stubbed out his cigarette and gently ruffled her hair.

“Okay! I’ll go pack right now. Wait for me,” Yvonne said, then eagerly rushed into the hotel.

As Yvonne’s figure disappeared from view, the smile on Bennett’s lips slowly faded. He turned to face Thomas.

“Just yesterday, I heard my aunt complaining to my mom that your schedule is so packed you don’t even have time to come home. I didn’t expect to see you here today.”

“I came back to the set for a few reshoots,” Thomas said.

“Is that so?” Bennett chuckled, leaning casually against the car door.

Thomas was a top-tier, award-winning actor whose schedule was booked years in advance. It was hard to believe he would be called back for reshoots for a small guest role. The excuse was so flimsy it was almost laughable.

Thomas knew the excuse wouldn’t fool Bennett. Besides, he never intended to hide his feelings for Yvonne.
