Chapter 178 Estelle Moves In
“Wait… Why are you coming Evan felt a headache coming on.
The mayor’s family was far too enthusiastic. Even when they openly admitted to wanting him as their future son-in-law, it was impossible to dislike them. All he could do was avoid them. What he never expected was that Estelle would track him down and show up at Nine Courts.
“I came home from school for the weekend-vacation, obviously!” Estelle said it like it was the most natural thing in the world. “My dad said you live in Nine Court. That’s amazing! It’s one of Silverton’s famous scenic spots. I’ve always wanted to visit! I’m almost there-wait for me, Evan!”
The moment he heard she was practically at his door, Evan’s expression changed. He forgot all about the evidence against Darius and bolted out of the villa.
If she was coming to “vacation,” that meant she planned to stay.
Meanwhile, the mayor’s car pulled over in the neighborhood.
“Wow! So this is Nine Courts?” Estelle spun in a circle the second she stepped out, eyes sparkling. “It’s gorgeous!”
And that wasn’t the only thing catching her interest-there were people to consider, too.
Behind her, Sean looked troubled. “Honey, isn’t it inappropriate for us to show up like this without warning?”
Belinda waved him off. “Inappropriate? What would you know? This is called getting ahead. Sure, Estelle’s beautiful-but compared to the Iron Dragon’s granddaughter, she’s at a disadvantage. If she doesn’t push harder, she’ll lose!
“This is a competition! Understand? Second place is just the best loser!” Her words were fiery, her gestures even more so.
“But…” Sean still looked troubled. He could tolerate his wife’s aggressive matchmaking-but seeing their daughter eagerly cooperate was what truly shocked him.
Estelle’s standards had always been impossibly high-he knew that better than anyone. Yet when it came to Evan, all her defenses vanished. It was like watching a completely different person. He was starting to wonder if his daughter had been swapped at birth.
“No more buts! Evan will be our son-in-law sooner or later, so why not start bonding early? Estelle, be sharp. Don’t be hike your father. When opportunity shows up, grab it!” Belinda instructed sternly.
Estelle nodded eagerly. “Got it, Mom! I won’t let you down. I’ll make sure to win Evan over as soon as possible!”
Evan arrived just in time to hear that–and his face went pale. Especially when he saw Estelle dragging several enormous
suitcases toward his villa.
He quickly called out, “Estelle!”
“Evan!” Estelle spun around and instantly sprinted toward him, arms open as if she meant to hug him. He dodged on instinct.
She only smiled. “You’re such a sweetheart, coming out to welcome me personally.”
‘I’m trying to stop you,’ Evan thought, exasperated. He pointed at the luggage. “What is all this?”
“I’m staying here, obviously. Three-day vacation. I need outfit options!” Estelle chirped. “These are heavy. Carry them for me?” Before he could reject her, she shoved everything into his arms and strutted past him with those long legs of hers. He didn’t even have a chance to block her way.
The roads in Nine Courts twisted like a maze-people visiting for the first time always got lost. Yet Estelle walked with absolute

certainty, heading straight toward Villa No. 1. That alone stunned hitti:
He rushed after her just as she added cheerfully, “As a reward for carrying my luggage, I’ll let you pick what I wear later.”
Inside the villa, Estelle’s curiosity exploded.
She examined everything, then picked a room close to Evan’s master bedroom and began making the bed. After that, she unzipped her suitcases.
