Chapter 147 Healing the Members
The heiresses thought Evan would be panicking now, so they weren’t worried. They were more curious
about the owner of Villa No. 1. In their minds, Cortex Team had shown up for that man-no one else here
was worth their attention
That only steeled their resolve to see Villa No. I’s owner. “We’ll pay a visit once Evan’s case is done!”
At the same time, Evan had arrived at a grand military hospital on the outskirts. This was where the injured were taken to
“Mi Norwood”
“You finally came!”
“Please, save my comrade! He can’t last much longer!”
The place was packed with the wounded, and Evan was their hope.
Of course they were excited. These people didn’t fear death, but uncompleted missions terrified them. They wanted to avenge the Iron Dragon. Evan spotted Victor among them.
The battle hardened Victor had his arm wrapped in thick layers of bandages. Blood was seeping through, and infection had set in. He gave a bitter smile. “I was careless, and my comrades paid for it.”
Something tightened in Evan’s chest. “Form a line,” he said. “I’ll treat you one by one.”
Then, he began
They thought it would take a long time, but all Evan did was prick them with some needles, and their wounds stopped bleeding. It was unreal, like a miracle.
Victor stared, stunned, his respect for Evan rising again. They thought they’d seen everything, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. His medical skills were far beyond what they’d imagined.
One hour later, all the injured were healed. All they needed now was rest.
Both squads roared, “Thank you, Mr. Norwood! You’ve saved us! We’ll pledge our lives to you!” Their voices shook the building
Every soldier Victor included looked at Evan with something close to reverence. Before this, the Iron
hegou had been the only one they had pledged their lives to.

Anyone who went after him would be making an enemy of both squads
Even then asked. “Where’s Ms Drakon?” He didn’t see Aria around

Victor’s expression darkened. A moment of silence later, he said, “Her face is ruined. She’s locked herself up in her room for days.*
Evan’s tone turned firm. “Take me to her.” A ruined face was the easiest thing to fix.
Victor led Evan to a room and knocked. “Open up, Aria. Mr. Norwood’s here. He can heal you.”
No one answered Evan knocked instead, and still no one answered.
A sigh escaped Victor’s lips. “Sorry, Mr. Norwood. The hit’s more psychological than physical. I mean, you’re…” He hesitated, unable to finish
Anyone could tell Aria had developed feelings for Evan after last time, even if she’d never said it. Now that her face was ruined, she didn’t want him to see her like this-no matter what he could do.
Evan didn’t force it.
He took out a small bottle instead. “Give this to her. Tell her to apply it every day. Her skin will recover in a few days.” He handed it to Victor and turned to leave.
Right after that, Aria’s room door swung open, and she took the bottle.
A car approached him not long after Evan left.
Evan knew that car. It was Sylvie’s, but the person who stepped out made him go still.
