Chapter 676: More vampire followers

Damon watched as everyone arrived on the other side one after the other. He did not expect it, but in the end, every single one he had invited ended up using the portal and teleporting to the outskirts of the wilderness.

First, Kate and Lirae arrived, practically right after him. Then his followers arrived one by one, Ellora, Kaelthorn, Erin, and Malia. Then Mallana and Green eyes walked in as well. Lastly, Riven stumbled in, looking very unsure.

His family came in next. Damon had already taken the castle back into his soul space, so he did not really offer them any choice per se. Sylvara and Nevin came in next, followed by Phoenix, Meira, and Blood Wraith.

Blood Wraith was practically giddy with joy, and if it was not for his sister literally holding him back, he would have jumped in earlier. Arya came in at the end, mainly because she was too timid to cut anyone standing in the line in front of her.

No one really had any thoughts about doing things otherwise. It was very clear from their actions. Then, at the end, a black blur as well bounded into the portal, coming out the other end.

"Master, I am here." Third made his presence known. Damon only gave the guy a nod. He did not particularly remember inviting him, as the guy was not really in danger of being associated with him. But since he was here, Damon did not care.

Damon looked at the whole group and chuckled lightly. "So everyone decided to come, huh? Good. Then let’s begin."

Damon was about to lead them away when the portal unexpectedly sputtered again, and three more individuals walked in.

Damon immediately recognized all three of them. How could he not? These were the top three blacksmiths in his last life, each one capable of shaking the entire light faction continent.

The old vampire’s voice grew even more defensive. "Don’t look at me like that. I only explained that you were a monstrous prodigy of the highest order, capable of reshaping fate itself, with talent that puts ancient emperors to shame. A little embellishment. Barely anything."
